Mike Conley PG MEM 4 Days
Mike Conley hit 7-of-18 shots and five 3-pointers for 20 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals in Saturday's win over the Bobcats.
He clearly outplayed Kemba Walker tonight and broke out of a funk, as he had hit just 4-of-23 shots over his previous two games, including an 0-for-8 disaster on Wednesday night. Outside of his previous two games, Conley has been playing well and should be good to go from here on in.
Mike Conley PG MEM 6 Days
Mike Conley missed all eight of his shots for two points, three rebounds and three assists in 21 minutes of Wednesday's ugly loss at Brooklyn Wednesday.
Just like Paul George, Conley didn't do anything for his fantasy owners, or real team tonight. He had scored 20 and 22 points in each of his previous two games, dropping seven dimes in each of them, so look for him to bounce back on Friday against the Bulls.
Mike Conley PG MEM 9 Days
Mike Conley scored 20 points during Monday's 110-104 win at Washington with three boards, seven assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.
After a mini slump of seven- and six-point games on Wednesday and Friday, Conley has cleared the 20-point plateau in each of his last two. He was terrific after the break last year, so there should be some optimism of the 26-year-old point guard rebounding from his 30.6 percent from the field in February.
Mike Conley PG MEM 18 Days
Mike Conley hit 6-of-16 shots and missed all five of his 3-point tries for 16 points, five rebounds, five assists and a steal in Saturday's loss to the Bobcats.
Conley's shot wasn't falling and some rust should be expected as he works his way back from an ankle injury, but at least he put up some decent numbers tonight.
Mike Conley PG MEM 21 Days
Mike Conley returned from an ankle injury and hit 6-of-15 shots and 10-of-12 free throws for 22 points, five rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block in a win over the Knicks.
Coming back against Raymond Felton and the Knicks was nice timing by Conley, who played 31 minutes tonight. More assists would have been nice, but the fact he played has to make his owners feel better. Nick Calathes, who had been starting in Conley's place, played just 19 minutes, but still managed to come up with 11 points, five assists, a steal and a 3-pointer. But he will have trouble sustaining those types of numbers as long as Conley is healthy.
Mike Conley PG MEM 23 Days
Mike Conley (ankle) will return against the Knicks on Tuesday.
There was an outside chance he was going to return before the break, but that didn't happen and he missed a total of seven games. The Grizzlies lucked out with Nick Calathes stepping up and were able to go 4-3 without their point guard. Conley owners can fire him up in all lineups while Calathes can likely be cut in most leagues.
Mike Conley PG MEM 28 Days
Mike Conley (ankle) will not play against the Magic on Wednesday.
There was an outside chance he could have played on Tuesday, but the Grizzlies will hold him out through the break. His right ankle sprain has kept him out since Jan. 31 and he should be ready to go after the break. Nick Calathes has been phenomenal in the starting lineup and should be a nice play tonight.
Mike Conley PG MEM 29 Days
Mike Conley (ankle) will sit out Tuesday's home game vs. the Wizards.
Nick Calathes gets a reprieve and will earn at least one more start, possibly two if Conley sits out again on Wednesday. Although his string of DNPs has cast a shadow on his true value, Conley's per-game stats have made him a top-20 fantasy player in nine-cat leagues.
Mike Conley PG MEM 29 Days
Mike Conley (ankle) is not expected to play in Tuesday's game against the Wizards, but Courtney Lee (ankle) is.
The Grizzlies have officially listed Conley as a game-time call, hinting that he's close to a return. But with the All-Star break looming, there's little reason to rush him. Backup Nick Calathes has been solid, averaging 14.6 points, 4.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.4 steals in five starts. Look for a starting five of Calathes, Lee, Tayshaun Prince, Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol.
Mike Conley PG MEM 1 Month
Mike Conley (ankle sprain) has been upgraded to day-to-day and there's a possibility that he'll return to action on Tuesday.
Conley is out of his walking boot and able to run, though his ankle is still swollen. He will not play on Saturday or Sunday but this is a very encouraging update, as he reportedly is "looking better than expected." Nick Calathes has been solid as a fill-in PG in his absence, and fantasy owners should enjoy the production while it lasts.
