Beat writer Darnell Mayberry expects Nick Collison to play more in Friday's Game 6 vs. Houston.

Scott Brooks has very strangely not played Collison over 20 minutes in any game, and it's about time he proved capable of making an adjustment when it's desperately needed. Collison averaged 19.5 minutes during the regular season but has not played that much in any game during the playoffs.

Nick Collison, who sat out the regular season finale to rest, will be available for Game 1 against the Rockets.

Collison was never nursing an injury so this is just a reminder that he's good to go and will see his traditional role off the bench.

Nick Collison (rest) will sit out of Wednesday's season finale.

Collison will get the night off as he prepares for the playoffs. Hasheem Thabeet and Daniel Orton will be the primary big men for OKC.

Nick Collison (groin) was active on Sunday, as expected, playing 26 minutes off OKC's bench.

He finished with 10 points, six rebounds and one steal, fairly typical numbers for the blue-collar backup big man.

Nick Collison (groin) missed practice on Saturday to receive treatment and is expected to play on Sunday.

He returned on Friday and scored 11 points in 19 minutes. Collison's game fits in well with the Thunder stars, but he has very little fantasy value.

Nick Collison will be a game-time decision on Friday against the Magic due to a groin contusion.

That does not sound pleasant. Collison hasn't received a blurb since the end of January which tells you his relevance in fantasy leagues, but if he sits out, it would mean Serge Ibaka would likely see more minutes and that's a bigger takeaway than Collison's absence. Kendrick Perkins would also be asked to play more minutes than usual if Collison is sidelined.

Nick Collison logged a season-high 41 minutes against the Clippers on Tuesday and had eight points, seven boards, two assists, one steal and two blocks.

Kendrick Perkins had four fouls in seven minutes, so Collison was given some extra burn in the win. The Kansas product couldn't produce with Serge Ibaka out of the lineup last week, so there's no reason to pick him up in most formats.
