Harrison Barnes SF GS 27 Days

Harrison Barnes and Klay Thompson are expected to be invited to Team USA mini camp in the offseason.

Neither name comes as a surprise considering each had a coming out party during the playoffs. Both guys will be critical in the Warriors' development as a team alongside Stephen Curry and will get valuable experience during the summer with Team USA.

Harrison Barnes passed the NBA's concussion tests after his hard fall during Game 6 on Friday, which resulted in six stitches above his right eye.

Barnes heads into the summer in good health, and he'll be a not-so-secret sleeper pick in fantasy leagues after lighting up for playoff averages of 16.1 points on 44.4 percent FGs and 85.7 percent FTs, 6.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.4 blocks.

Harrison Barnes said Friday that he felt fine after a scary fall in the second quarter Thursday night in which he landed on his head.

Barnes tried to come out and play the second half but eventually left complaining of headaches. It's unclear if Barnes suffered a concussion, but he'll have the entire offseason to let the symptoms subside after the Warriros were eliminated by the Spurs.

Harrison Barnes is dealing with headaches and will not return to Thursday's game.

Uh oh. Barnes headed to the locker room after an extremely hard fall and landed on his head, then came out to start the second half. The Warriors training staff is immediately going to be put under the microscope for this and they'll have some explaining to do in the post-game. Barnes finished with nine points, four boards and one assist in 31 minutes.

Harrison Barnes received six stitches above his left eye and started the second half on Thursday.

There was a chance he suffered a concussion with the severity in which his head hit the floor in the second quarter, but that's obviously not the case. The Warriors are going to need Barnes to play well and he's been terrific with 25.5 points per game in his previous two contests. He didn't really do much throughout the course of the regular season, but his big-time playoff production is putting him on the fantasy map for next year even though David Lee isn't healthy.

Harrison Barnes attempted a career-high 26 field goals in Sunday's thrilling overtime victory -- he made nine of his attempts to finish with 26 points, 10 rebounds and one steal in 51 minutes.

The rookie has been a revelation in the playoffs, shooting 45.4 percent from the field in nearly 40 minutes per game. With decent percentages, 3-point range and a guaranteed starting SF job, Barnes is on the short-list of players who could explode in 2013-14.

Harrison Barnes was solid in his 53 minutes of action with 19 points, 12 boards and three 3-pointers on 8-of-14 shooting against the Spurs on Monday.

He turned in a big series against the Nuggets with 14.8 points per game, which was up from his regular-season average of 9.2. Barnes and the Warriors played small ball with Draymond Green (10 points, seven boards, two assists, one steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers) getting 38 minutes, as well. Stephen Curry will deservedly get all the headlines for the Warriors making noise, but Barnes has been a big part of their recent success.

Harrison Barnes scored a career-high 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting during a 131-117 Game 2 win on Tuesday, while adding six boards, two assists, one steal, no turnovers and two 3-pointers.

He played a lot of minutes at power forward and the Warriors beat Denver at their own game with aggressive shot taking and added their usual 3-point flavor with 14 makes from deep. Barnes averaged just 5.0 points per game in the three games in which the Warriors didn't have David Lee this year, so this outing is surprising to say the least. He may have ample opportunity to have another strong game, but the leash may be short on Friday at home given his inconsistency all season.

Harrison Barnes had 15 points and 10 rebounds on 6-of-11 shooting, and also hit a 3-pointer in 26 minutes on Tuesday.

This was just his fourth double-double of the season, but the other three came back in November. He also had just four points and three boards in his previous game, meaning he's not reliable enough to be in most lineups right now.

Harrison Barnes scored 16 points and hauled in eight rebounds in 36 minutes of action on Saturday.

The rookie is gaining some traction, averaging 10.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.9 steals in March, but he's only playing 23 minutes per game. He'll be a shaky option until Mark Jackson decides to give him more consistent burn.
