Barnes posted 17 points and eight rebounds in 30 minutes of action Sunday against the Celtics.

Barnes is now averaging 10.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.6 three-pointers made over the last five games. While it's encouraging that he's contributing in rebounds, he isn't racking up enough points, assists, and steals to be worth owning in standard leagues.

Barnes played some power forward during Friday night's win over San Antonio, the San Jose Mercury News reports. Head coach Steve Kerr is considering that look more often as it worked well for the team's offense.Barnes, who is shooting 43 percent from three-point distance this season, was able to stretch the floor and let David Lee make some plays in the low post. It was that smaller lineup that changed the complexion of the game, turning a close match into a double-digit Warriors lead. "I probably need to get Harrison at that spot more often because I think that's when we're the most dynamic and the most difficult to deal with," Kerr said.

Barnes scored 11 points (4-of-8 FG, 2-of-4 3Pt) with five rebounds and one assist in Wednesday night's win over the Rockets. He's made 54 percent (19-of-35) of three-point attempts the last 12 games.

Lost in the Warriors' league-best record, its winning streaks and the phenomenal play of its backcourt is the growth of Barnes. He's smashing his career marks in accuracy. For the season, he's making 49.7 percent of his field-goal attempts and 44.2 percent of his three point shots. The new ball-movement offense installed by head coach Steve Kerr has created better shots for every player and puts Barnes in better situations to be effective.

Barnes scored 23 points (8-14 FG, 5-5 3P, 2-4 FT) with seven rebounds in 36 minutes during Monday's win over the Thunder.

He may not be an official Splash Brother, but Barnes outdid both his more heralded teammates from beyond the arc on Monday en route to a season high in scoring. The 23 points are more than he'd scored in his previous three games combined, however, so you'll probably want to see a little more consistency out of the third year forward before adding him to your roster.

Barnes continues his moderate production. It's hard for a team to supply fantasy owners with four solid fantasy options. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have played very well for fantasy owners. It's hard for Barnes to fit in the picture, but he maintains his contribution in low amounts, but in a number of categories - there are certainly worse options available.

Barnes took an elbow to the nose from the Pelicans' Dante Cunningham in Sunday's win. He has a nasal fracture, which will often keep some player out for a couple games, so for Barnes to be back in the lineup without missing time suggests he should be fine going forward. While Barnes doesn't get enough counting stats to be of unviersal use in head-to-head leagues, his improvement in the percentages this season have made him more valuable in rotisserie leagues. Coming into Tuesday's game, he was averaging 11.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 0.6 steals, 0.3 blocks, and 1.0 three-pointer in 31 minutes per game, shooting 53 percent from the field, 42 percent from beyond the arc, and 78 percent from the line.
