Marcus Camby admitted to being "frustrated" with his playing time this season.

"The team was playing well and the coach was comfortable with the rotation he had," GM Glen Grunwald said. "The coach had success with Tyson [Chandler] and Kenyon [Martin], and he decided to keep going with that." Camby appeared in just 24 games this season and battled through plantar fasciitis all year.

Marcus Camby has been "healthy for a while now" and he intends to honor his contract for the 2013-14 season, according to his agent.

It was reported in mid-May that Camby was still suffering from plantar fasciitis, so we're not taking his agent's quotes as the inviolable truth. The veteran center appeared in just 24 games this season and he vanished from the Knicks' rotation during the postseason. He won't be a fantasy option in standard leagues no matter where he's playing next year.

Marcus Camby is reportedly still suffering from plantar fasciitis.

This isn't surprising, but it helps explain why Camby has played just 12 seconds in the second round, despite the Knicks' need for size and length to combat the Pacers.

Marcus Camby (foot) will be active against the Celtics on Saturday, but Mike Woodson wasn't sure if he'll play.

Camby has been plagued by plantar fasciitis all season, which has limited his already shrunken role off the Knicks' bench. At this point, Camby is more of an insurance policy than anything else.

Marcus Camby (foot) went through practice on Thursday and is expected to be ready for Game 1 vs. Boston.

Camby has dealt with plantar fasciitis all season long, and even though he's healthy at the moment, he's not expected to have a major role (if he has one at all) in the playoffs. He's an insurance policy.

Marcus Camby (foot) will not play Wednesday night.

The Knicks are saving Camby for the postseason so it's no surprise he won't play Wednesday. Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler, Jason Kidd and J.R. Smith are also being rested.

Updating a previous report, Marcus Camby is active for Monday's game, but is not expected to play.

Raymond Felton is also active, but coach Mike Woodson would rather not use him tonight.
