Cole scored a team-high 19 points (8-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with three assists and a block in 36 minutes off the bench Monday.

This was his best scoring night since joining the Pelicans, although Cole has scored in double digits in five of his six games with New Orleans. In deep fantasy leagues, his apparently stable bench role while Jrue Holiday (leg) is sidelined could make him worth a roster spot.

Cole missed all 10 of the attempted he shot Friday, finishing the loss to the Pelicans with just three points, two rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes.

This was only Cole's fifth game with the Thunder, so he still has time to learn the offense or system. Cole had scored double-digit points in three straight games heading into Friday, but is shooting 49.2 percent this month and averages 4.7 assists per game.

Cole scored 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), adding in six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 30 minutes off the bench in his Pelicans debut Saturday.Cole was the first guard off the bench behind Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans. It will be interesting to see how Cole's role develops going forward, as the Pelicans have been decimated by injuries recently, adding Anthony Davis (shoulder) and Ryan Anderson (knee) to that list on Saturday. Look for Cole to make a significant contribution in the Pelicans rotation for the short-term.

Cole will be active for Saturday's contest at Miami.Cole should make an appearance in his first game following Thursday's trade from Miami, especially with Jrue Holiday's continued absence due to a stress reaction in his lower right leg. However, Cole is unlikely to match the 26 minutes per game he garnered in six February tilts prior to the break due to the presence of Tyreke Evans at the point.

Cole was dealt to the Pelicans on Thursday, Brian Windhorst of ESPN reports.Details surrounding the deal continue to emerge, but Cole will head to New Orleans a Goran Dragic comes to Miami as the obvious starter. With Jrue Holiday (leg) out indefinitely, Cole should have a chance to see major minutes, though it's unclear whether he'll unseat Tyreke Evans, who has been playing out of position s the starting point guard since Holiday went down.

Cole scored 15 points (5-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT) with three rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes in the loss to Minnesota on Wednesday. He an opportunity to win the game, but missed an open 3-pointer with two seconds left.

Cole had not scored in double digits since Dec. 21 and only averaged 4.0 points in January. Perhaps his performance against the Timberwolves will get him going, but he is probably best left only until Cole shows some consistency.

Cole may start Friday's game against the Mavericks in place of Dwyane Wade (hamstring), Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

When Wade left Tuesday's game against the Bucks, it was Cole, rather than Shabazz Napier, who picked up most of the minutes. Both players may benefit from added playing time, and with Luol Deng (calf) also sidelined, the Heat will need contributions from Danny Granger and James Ennis.

Cole played 25 minutes Tuesday in relief of Dwyane Wade, who left the game early after straining his hamstring, but went just 3-for-7 from the floor for seven points.

Cole and Mario Chalmers got the majority of the work in the backcourt with Wade out. Even if Wade misses some time and Cole starts, he's not a great option. In 23 starts this season, Cole averaged 7.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
