Kenneth Faried PF DEN 29 Days

Faried had another big game on Sunday, following up his career night on Friday. He finished with 17 points (8-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 19 rebounds, and two assists in 38 minutes.

Thet's three straight double-doubles for Faried and counting. He's really starting to come into form for Denver and now is a perfect opportunity to sell-high on the forward for those who are thinking of jumping ship.

Faried erupted Friday in a win over the Timberwolves, scoring a season-high 26 points (11-15 FG, 4-5 FT) and grabbing a career-high 25 rebounds.

Faried's night could have been even better had he not picked up five fouls in the game. After the third quarter alone, Faried had 20 points and 20 rebounds. He obviously won't be putting up these numbers every night, but now has a double-double in two straight games. In December, he's averaging 10.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists. Hats off to any owners who used him in a daily league for this one.

Faried (ankle) grabbed a double-double in his return to action Wednesday against the Rockets. He contributed 11 points, 11 rebounds, and two assists before fouling out after 32 minutes of play.

Faried has played just three games over the last six contests, but it appears he'll be fine moving forward. Still, the young forward has had a massively disappointing season so far, contributing 11.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, and not much of anything else. He's a low-end option in standard leagues for now.

Faried (ankle) will return to the starting lineup versus Houston on Wednesday, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Faried missed Sunday's matchup with San Antonio due to a sprained ankle, and he came off the bench in the Nuggets' previous two games after returning from a shoulder injury. He'll be back in the starting five Wednesday, joining Timofey Mozgov and Wilson Chandler in the frontcourt and pushing J.J. Hickson back to the bench.

Faried (ankle) returned to practice Tuesday and is on track to return Wednesday against the Rockets, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Faried, who missed Sunday's game against San Antonio, is expected to play Wednesday, barring a setback. He's been shaky of late, battling ankle and back issues and scoring in double-figures just twice in his last five outings. His numbers are down across the board this season, and he's shoot a career-low 50.6 percent from the floor.

Faried (ankle) will not play Sunday against the Spurs, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Faried suffered an ankle injury Saturday against Houston but returned to the game and finished with seven points, three rebounds and two assists. It's likely the forward is dealing with swelling, so he'll be held out, meaning J.J. Hickson will likely notch another start at power forward.

Faried scored 13 points (4-9 FG, 5-6 FT) and added eight rebounds and one assist in 22 minutes of action off the bench against the Miami Heat on Wednesday.

This was Faried's first night back and in only 22 minutes of action he was able to be productive on a per minute basis. It's a great sign to see Faried play again and his minutes should increase from here as they move things along with Faried.

Faried (back) is expected to come off the bench Wednesday night against the Heat, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Faried has been day-to-day with a lower back strain, and although he's expected to be available, it will be in a reserve role. He's a risky fantasy play until he proves he's able to handle steady minutes.

Faried (back) was present at shootaround and is expected to be available to play Wednesday, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Faried suffered a strained lower back in a practice earlier this week, and has missed the past two contests as a result. His appearance in shootaround is definitely good news for fantasy owners, but we still do not know if he will have any minutes restrictions Wednesday. Faried has only averaged 26 minutes and 10.7 points so far this year, so even though fantasy owners drafted Faried as an every week starter, it may be wise to bench him in his return from this back problem, if there's a solid option on the bench to replace him.

Faried (back) won't suit up Monday in Toronto, TSN Sports reports.

Faried is missing back-to-back games due to a strained lower back, but because he was seemingly a game-time call Monday, a similar situation could come to pass for the Nuggets' next tilt Wednesday against the Heat. In his place, J.J. Hickson should garner another start at power forward.
