Enes Kanter C UTA 21 Hrs
Enes Kanter scored 19 points with five boards, two assists, two steals and one block on 9-of-18 shooting.
He wasn't really going to the basket as much and for whatever reason, he didn't seem to have a high motor. Kanter's rebounding numbers have been going down on defense and he's given up some easy buckets to his man, as well. On the bright side, he's playing better on offense and he may have a chance to keep his job once Marvin Williams comes back from a heel injury.

Enes Kanter logged 37 minutes in an overtime loss to the Kings with 12 points, seven boards, two assists, one steal and four blocks on 6-of-11 shooting on Saturday.
Coach Ty Corbin seemed frustrated with Kanter's weak defense on DeMarcus Cousins and he had to give way to Andris Biedrins. His four blocks all came on players that he wasn't covering, so that stat does not reflect his overall defense very well. Marvin Williams (heel) might miss more time, but once he comes back, Kanter will really have to get it going to keep a consistent role as a main option in the paint. He's still worth holding in almost all leagues since the Jazz should give him a long leash.

Enes Kanter posted just six points on 3-of-8 shooting with two rebounds and two steals in Friday's blowout loss to the Blazers.
Kanter did no worse than his teammates, but unlike some of his teammates he isn't about to get dropped by fantasy owners. It's hard to say what the issue is when he's dropping 20 and 10 nights like he did on Wednesday, but his defensive production has been abysmal and we're wondering if he went back on his old diet. If you want to move on to greener pastures we'd understand, but the Jazz have a lot invested in him and need to make this work.

Enes Kanter drew the start on Wednesday with Marvin Williams out with a sore Achilles and went off to the tune of 20 points, 10 rebounds and a block on 8-of-18 shooting in 40 minutes.
He also hit all four of his free throws and his owners have been dying for him to play like this. Prior to tonight's explosion, Kanter hadn't even been worth starting in fantasy, scoring 10 or fewer points in six straight games. We're assuming Williams will reclaim the starting power forward job once he's back in action, meaning Kanter could go back to being invisible on the Jazz bench. However, that's not a guarantee for the 4-16 Jazz, so if you're still holding Kanter, it might be wise to do so until we see how this shakes out.

Enes Kanter's vanishing act continued on Monday with just three points, two boards and three turnovers in 13 minutes against the Rockets.
Yikes. He had season lows in points, rebounds and minutes while tonight was just the second time in his last seven games he's turned the ball over more than two times. Kanter's numbers coming off the bench have been horrible even before tonight, averaging just 8.0 points, 3.7 boards and not blocking a single shot in 19.3 minutes per game. The Jazz have also won three of their last four games with Kanter not really being a factor. It makes sense to cut him for someone like Taj Gibson following this dud.

Enes Kanter (ankle) returned to action on Friday, scoring six points on 3-of-7 shooting with four rebounds and five fouls.
We don't want to overreact to a return game but Marvin Williams (18 points, seven boards) is playing well right now and Kanter's defense has left a lot to be desired this season. Kanter did not have a steal or block in this one, which has been a frustrating trend for owners all season. Still, owners should be holding here as it's too premature for a drop.

Enes Kanter (ankle) practiced on Thursday and will be a game-time decision for Friday's game against Phoenix.
After a strong start to the season, Kanter's play has dropped off significantly due to his ankle injury, but his return to practice is a good sign. Despite the recent slump, Kanter is still averaging 13.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks per game and deserves to be owned in all formats.
