Kanter scored 24 points (9-20 FG, 6-8 FT) with 17 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 33 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Cavaliers.

This was Kanter's biggest line in his last five games since returning from injury. He is back in the starting line-up and is playing enough minutes for him to contribute in points, rebounds and steals for your team.

Coach Quin Snyder reiterated that Kanter is the Jazz's starting power forward, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Kanter came off the bench to begin the second half of Sunday's game, leading some to believe his starting spot could be in jeopardy. That's not the case, however, as the reports says Snyder "emphatically stated" Kanter will remain the starter going forward. Assuming that holds up, Rudy Gobert will continue to come off the bench, though it will be difficult to keep the Frenchman off the court if he keeps performing like he did Sunday (13 points, 18 rebounds, four blocks).

Kanter was moved to a bench role to begin the second half of Sunday's game, but coach Quin Snyder said that the move has no long-term implications, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Kanter's role in the starting lineup appears to be on the hot seat. While Kanter hasn't necesarrily done anything to lose the job, he has been outplayed by backup big man Rudy Gobert, and with Gobert getting the start in the second half for mathcup reasons, it appears Gobert is squeezing in on Kanter's realestate. Gobert should be owned in all leagues, and Kanter's value needs to be watched closely, as his lack of production in blocks makes him a questionable option in lots of standard head-to-head leagues.

Kanter returned to the starting lineup during Tuesday's loss to the Golden State Warriors, finishing with 13 points (6-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt), 10 rebounds and a steal in just under 32 minutes.

Kanter returned to the lineup in Saturday's matchup against the Houston Rockets after a four game absence due to an ankle sprain, but came off the bench and played only 21 minutes. In Tuesday's game against the Warriors, Kanter moved back into the starting lineup and received a full game's worth of minutes. Considering he was able to play a full 32 minutes, he should be over his ankle sprain and safe to put back into fantasy lineups. The double-double was a nice bonus, marking his eigth of the year. Rudy Gobert was sent back to the bench in a corresponding move.

Kanter will return to the starting lineup Tuesday against Golden State, Jody Genessy of the Deseret News reports.

Kanter missed four games with an ankle sprain and returned to action Saturday against the Rockets. He logged 21 minutes off the bench, scoring 16 points to go with six rebounds. The move back into the starting five means Rudy Gobert will shift to the bench after an impressive five-game stretch during which he averaged 9.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.7 blocks.

Kanter made his return after missing four games due to an ankle sprain, playing 21 minutes off the bench, scoring 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-5 FT) with six rebounds, one assists, and one steal.

We heard pregame that Kanter would be on a minutes restriction and that' exactly how things played out, although he was still super productive. As his minutes get ramped up, there is a very good chance he reenters the starting lineup and becomes a solid scoring and rebounding fantasy option. If he's on your waiver-wire and you need some scoring punch, Kanter should be able to provide that.

Kanter (ankle) will come off the bench and be on a minute restriction against the Rockets on Saturday, the Deseret News reports.

Kanter will be ending his streak of four straight games off the court with a sprained ankle, although it will be in subdued fashion. Rudy Gobert is expected to start Saturday and will likely be a better play than Kanter until Kanter's minute restriction is lifted.

Kanter (ankle) is available against the Rockets on Saturday.

Kanter will end the four game streak of being sidelined with a sprained ankle. His return will also cause Rudy Gobert to surrender the extra minutes that the second-year player was receiving while Kanter was injured.

Kanter (ankle) is considered probable for Saturday's game against the Rockets.

Kanter has been sidelined for Utah's past four games but seems to be in line to play against the Rockets. Assuming he does play, Kanter will most likely relegate Rudy Gobert to his normal role off the bench.

Rudy Gobert will get another start in his place, as Kanter misses his fourth straight game. Consider him highly questionable for Saturday's game in Houston.
