Enes Kanter C UTA 1 Month

Enes Kanter said that the platelet rich plasma injection in his right knee was a success, and he expects to have a "short and easy" recovery.

The initial timetable for his full recovery was two weeks. He will not play for Turkey in the FIBA World Cup beginning in late August but that's simply a precaution, and he'll be ready to go for Utah's training camp. Kanter averaged 12.3 points and 7.5 rebounds in under 27 minutes per game last season, though his fantasy value was limited by a dearth of steals (0.4) and blocks (0.5).

Enes Kanter will receive a platelet rich plasma injection in his right knee and will be sidelined for about two weeks.

He will also skip the FIBA World Cup with Turkey later this summer. This is not a serious procedure and some players won't miss any games during the season after a PRP injection. Kanter doesn't have a history of knee problems, so this is a mild surprise. While he was able to stay healthy, the 22-year-old big man will really have to improve his defense to become a reliable center in the NBA.

Enes Kanter was "clearly miffed" at not receiving more playing time this season.

"They told us it was a rebuilding year," Kanter said as the Jazz packed up their things. "If we are not winning a championship, why are the young guys not more together?" It's a very, very valid point. Kanter often lost minutes to guys like Marvin Williams and Richard Jefferson, finishing at 26.7 minutes a night on 37 starts. He'd benefit from a coaching change.

Enes Kanter will miss Wednesday's finale with a sore knee.

Here's a late benching we didn't see coming, and of course, news broke right at 7 p.m., making it nearly impossible to get him replaced in lineups. Kanter had a nice season, but it would have been a lot better had he not been stuck on the bench behind the likes of Marvin Williams. Next season should be a different story. Erik Murphy is available for the Jazz tonight.

Enes Kanter made 8-of-12 from the field for 19 points vs. the Lakers on Monday to go with 12 boards, two assists, one block and one steal in 37 minutes.

He's been great on the glass with double-digit boards in each of his last five games -- all losses. During that span, Kanter averaged 15.8 points, 14.0 boards, 1.0 blocks and 0.4 steals on 49.2 percent from the field. The blocks have also been a nice surprise since he's at just 0.5 per game on the season, so his fantasy owners have to be pleased with his finish.

Enes Kanter had 22 points, 14 rebounds, a steal and a block in 37 minutes of Saturday's loss to Denver.

Derrick Favors also double-doubled with 13 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two blocks, while Kanter has now double-doubled in four straight games and is averaging 14.2 points, 13.0 rebounds and 0.8 blocks over his last five games. With Marvin Williams hurting and the Jazz having nothing to play for, Kanter should continue to roll.

Enes Kanter came off the bench for 15 points, a season-high 19 rebounds and two blocks in 28 minutes on Tuesday.

Marvin Williams started, but was unable to finish due to a lingering knee issue, which could end his season and open the door for Kanter to play like this the rest of the way. He's hot right now, averaging 12.8 points, 11.2 rebounds and 0.4 blocks over his last five games. As you can see, the blocks were a welcomed sight tonight.

Enes Kanter double-doubled against the Thunder on Sunday with 18 points, 12 boards and three turnovers in 31 minutes.

He has four double-doubles in his last six games, but only has one block in than span. Kanter averaged a double-double in the month of March for the first time of his career, but he's not doing much else. He's a better asset in points leagues than standard leagues.

Enes Kanter had a quiet night during Friday's loss to the Pelicans and only scored eight points with three rebounds and three assists.

Kanter again saw the start for the Jazz, but received the least playing time that he's seen in the past 10 days. His three rebounds were his lowest total in the last month and he struggled with six turnovers in 26 minutes. Kanter is worth owning for his double-double potential, but his owners should be aware that Kanter doesn't have much to offer besides points and rebounds.

Enes Kanter hit 4-of-11 shots for 11 points, 15 rebounds, one steal and no blocks in Wednesday's loss.

He finally appears to be entrenched in the starting lineup, meaning he's worth owning in all leagues. He's averaging 11.4 points and 11.0 rebounds over his last five games, but don't expect many steals or blocks from the big man, as he's just not getting many.
