Gary Neal SG MIN 9 Hrs

Neal (ankle) is out for Friday's game against the Rockets.

An illness, and now an ankle issue, have kept Neal out of six of the last seven games, and he'll continue to sit out through Friday's matchup with Houston. With a number of injuries to key players, the Wolves have relied upon Zach LaVine and Lorenzo Brown for production in the backcourt. Recent 10-day signee Sean Kilpatrick has also been a part of the rotation, and he played 24 minutes off the bench Wednesday.

Neal (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Lakers.

Neal missed four games due to an illness, and he sprained his ankle in Sunday's game against the Jazz. He'll join Ricky Rubio, Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Garnett on yet another crowded Wolves injury report.

Gary Neal SG MIN 2 Days

Neal (ankle) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.

The Minnesota injury report is once again extremely crowded, but there's little reason to think the team will push Neal through his injury. Meanwhile, Kevin Martin (hamstring) is listed as questionable, which means we could see a whole lot more of Zach LaVine, Lorenzo Brown and Chase Budinger.

Neal (ankle) won't play Monday against the Jazz.

Neal rejoined the lineup Sunday after dealing with an illness, but exited early with an ankle injury. The issue will cost him Monday's contest as well, making Zach LaVine and Kevin Martin candidates to receive a minutes bump in his place.

Gary Neal SG MIN 4 Days

Neal left Sunday's game against the Hornets with a sprained left ankle, and he will not return to the contest, Kyle Ratke of timberwolves.com reports.

After missing the previous four games because of an illness, Neal piled up 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3PT), two rebounds, two assists, a steal and five turnovers over 21 minutes in Sunday's game. The Timberwolves play the second game of a back-to-back Monday night in Utah, and with so many other players bothered by injuries, it's difficult to say how this latest issue could impact the team's rotations. If Neal isn't able to play and nobody else returns, Kevin Martin and Zach LaVine will both be candidates to hit the 40-minute mark.

Neal (illness) will play in Sunday's game against the Hornets, Kyle Ratke of Timberwolves.com reports.

Neal has missed the past four games but is in line to play Sunday. He averaged 20.3 minutes in the three games before his illness and has a chance to play around that same total against the Hornets.

Gary Neal SG MIN 5 Days

Neal (illness) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against Charlotte, Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reports.

Neal has missed the last four games with an illness but it looks like he'll be able to give it a go Sunday against the Hornets. The Timberwolves have a number of players listed as out or questionable for Sunday, which could lead to a minutes increase for Neal.

Neal (illness) isn't taking the floor Thursday at New York.

Neal will miss his fourth game in a row due to what has been termed a "very severe" illness. Expect Chase Budinger and Lorenzo Brown to act as the nominal wing options off the bench with Ricky Rubio (ankle) also out of commission.

Gary Neal SG MIN 7 Days

Neal (illness) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Knicks.

Neal has missed the last three games with what is apparently a pretty severe illness. He's once again listed as questionable, and an update should come later in the afternoon once the team has a chance to evaluate him prior to warmups.

Gary Neal SG MIN 8 Days

Neal (illness) will not play Wednesday, Jerry Zgoda of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

An illness will cost Neal his third straight game, and Zach LaVine should pick up some extra minutes. Ricky Rubio said he will try to play Wednesday but he's less than 100 percent, so both LaVine and Lorenzo Brown could see significant boosts in value.
