Greivis Vasquez will train with Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook in the offseason.

All three players share the same agent, but it definitely can't hurt Vasquez's development as he works on his game and becoming a focal point for the Hornets.

Greivis Vasquez will miss the Hornets' season finale with a right ankle injury.

Vasquez has been dealing with a right ankle injury since the beginning of the year and recently admitted he's less than 100 percent. With the Hornets not making the playoffs, it makes sense to give him the final night off and let him rest and rehab the ankle in the offseason. Brian Roberts will get the start as a strong plug-n-play option in fantasy.

Greivis Vasquez (ankle) returned to action on Sunday with 11 points, three rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes.

His status was up in the air until just before tip-off and slipped past our radar, a rarity which we hope didn't spoil any owners' lineups. He hit just 5-of-16 field goals, didn't attempt any free throws, and didn't get any steals, and he'll be looking for revenge vs. the Mavericks in Wednesday's season finale.

Greivis Vasquez (ankle) will not play on Friday against the Clippers, and Brian Roberts is expected to start in his place.

Vasquez tweaked his ankle against the Lakers on Tuesday and admitted he should not have played on Wednesday, so his absence Friday should have been expected. As a starter, Roberts is averaging 11.7 points, 19.7 assists, 1.3 steals and a triple over three games this season. Vasquez will attempt to play Sunday vs. Dallas, but his ankle is at "less than 80 percent," according to Monty Williams.

Greivis Vasquez (ankle) confirmed after Wednesday's game that he's not 100 percent healthy.

"I wasn't myself today," he said. "I was struggling out there. I was trying to play through injuries and all that stuff. I have to rehab and all that stuff and hopefully it feels better." Vasquez is expected to be examined by team doctors, and Brian Roberts is looking like a strong add for those owners still playing as Vasquez deals with ankle issues once again.

Greivis Vasquez didn't look to be 100 percent on Wednesday, playing 25 minutes for four points, one board, two assists, one steal and three turnovers against the Kings.

He rolled his ankle late in Tuesday's game and he checked out at 10:32 left in the fourth and never returned tonight. While garbage time was definitely a factor, Vasquez wasn't quite as active on offense as he normally is. He'll get Thursday to rest before taking on the Clippers on Friday.

Greivis Vasquez (ankle) will start against the Kings on Wednesday.

He turned his ankle on Tuesday while driving to the basket in transition during the fourth quarter. Vasquez didn't have too much weight put on his ankle as he sprained it, so it seems safe to put him in your lineups, especially since the Kings are leading the NBA in pace since the All-Star break. Brian Roberts can be put back on the wire.
