Splitter (calf) did not travel with the Spurs on this road trip, so he will miss Friday's game in Minnesota, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Splitter (calf) is unlikely to suit up during the Spurs' upcoming two-game road trip, the San Antonio Express-News reports.

The Spurs travel to Cleveland (on Wednesday) and Minnesota (on Friday) this week, but Splitter is expected to remain on the sideline. With just one 10-minute appearance on the ledger this season, he currently holds little sway, but his absence hasn't been for naught due to the versatility of Boris Diaw.

Splitter (calf/back) will not play against the 76ers on Monday.

Splitter has only spent 10 minutes on the court this season as he continues to deal with related calf and back issues that he has yet to recover from. His next opportunity to get on the court will be against the Cavaliers on Wednesday, although it would be somewhat surprising if he made a comeback when Boris Diaw has been a more than capable replacement.

Splitter (calf/back) will see a back specialist in Los Angeles on Monday, the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Doctors believe that Splitter's calf strain, which has kept him out of four of five games this season, is related to inflammation in a disc in his back that was detected in an MRI exam Wednesday. "We don't know if it is a problem in the calf or the back. It's complicated," Splitter said. "We're going to see a back specialist and see what he says about it and see what he suggests to do." Monday's visit will hopefully provide some clarity as to how much additional time Splitter might miss.

Splitter (calf) will not play Saturday against the Pelicans, San Antonio Express-News reports.

Splitter made a return from his injury and started on Wednesday. He was eventually removed after only 10 minutes when his calf tightened up, so the Spurs will sit him as a precaution. He'll be day-to-day going forward and questionable for Monday's game against the Clippers.
