Gordon Hayward SG/SF UTA 3 Months
Gordon Hayward will replace DeMarre Carroll as Utah's starting SF on Saturday.
Hayward is averaging more points in fewer minutes as a reserve this season, thanks to his expanded role with the second unit, but this should still be a positive development for fantasy owners. Double-check that he's in your active lineups.

One game after he was held to five points, Gordon Hayward scored 13 points to join Alec Burks (14 points) and Enes Kanter (11 points) as the only Jazz players in double-digits.
Hayward hit two 3-pointers with five rebounds and two steals, helping to offset his 3-of-8 shooting and five turnovers. He has been terrific for the past month, returning fourth-round value in nine-cat leagues, with FG percentage (39.4 percent) being the only thing holding him back from near-elite value.

The Jazz turned away from Gordon Hayward in Friday's loss, as he hit just 2-of-6 shots for five points with one rebound, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes.
The timing of Al Jefferson's return tonight isn't surprising, as the team tends to shut down offensively when the ball gets dumped into the post too much. Add in Marvin Williams' 10 shot attempts and the return of Mo Williams (1-of-7 FGs, three assists), and there was enough interference to throw Hayward off his game. Owners should be far from panicking despite the familiar background music.

Gordon Hayward played 34 minutes and hit 8-of-17 shots and three 3-pointers on his way to 25 points, seven assists and three steals in Wednesday's tough loss to the Cavs.
Marvin Williams was demoted to the bench for DeMarre Carroll, but we're guessing it will be Hayward who gets most of the small forward minutes going forward, despite coming off the bench. He's over his injury and should be ready to start producing at a high level down the stretch, especially now that Williams is no longer in his way.

Gordon Hayward hit 4-of-9 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, three rebounds and four assists in 37 minutes of Wednesday's loss to the Hawks.
Hayward wasn't dazzling tonight, but has scored in double figures in all four games since returning from his shoulder injury. And the news gets better for him going forward, as Al Jefferson (ankle), Paul Millsap (ankle) and DeMarre Carroll (knee) are all iffy for Friday. Hayward is a must-start player the rest of the way, especially with a perfect remaining weekly schedule for the Jazz and all the injuries in Utah.

Gordon Hayward kept his foot on the gas with 26 points in Monday's overtime loss, hitting 7-of-16 shots (including four threes) with two rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 36 minutes off the bench.
Maybe Ty Corbin has figured out that his offense works better with Hayward at the controls instead of dumping the ball into Al Jefferson incessantly. Either way, the chance for a second half surge was a reason that some of us over here decided to hold through the break and it's possible that's what we're seeing.

Gordon Hayward was a rare bright spot for Utah on Saturday -- he scored 23 points with eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in 34 minutes off the bench.
Hayward did most of his damage with his 13-of-14 FT shooting, and his movement and passing worked wonders for Utah's offense. His +/- rating was +12 in a game the Jazz lost by 13 points, and it's safe to say that his sprained shoulder has fully healed.

Gordon Hayward said that he has recovered from his shoulder injury and he's 100 percent.
He shook off the rust quickly in his return on Tuesday, scoring 17 points in 25 minutes. Hayward did say there's still some pain, so the threat of an aggravation does exist. He had a productive January before going down to injury, averaging 14.5 points, 1.3 triples, 0.6 blocks and 0.6 steals, so he's worth owning in most leagues.

Gordon Hayward (shoulder) returned from his 10-game absence on Tuesday, scoring 17 points with three rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes against the Warriors.
He was wearing a sleeve on his injured right shoulder, but he didn't seem bothered by it at all. Hayward had a breakaway dunk and he shot the ball well, making 5-of-9 from the field. He's worth owning in all standard leagues since the possible changes in Utah could help his value.

Gordon Hayward (shoulder) will return to the lineup against the Warriors on Tuesday.
He has been out of the lineup since January 26 with soreness in his shooting shoulder. Hayward did aggravate his shoulder seven days ago in practice and the Jazz might ease him back into his former role. In his five games prior to the injury, he averaged 14.0 points in 26.4 minutes, so he's worth a look in standard leagues.
