Gordon Hayward SG/SF UTA 1 Day

Gordon Hayward scored 21 points with six boards, four assists and one 3-pointer against the Lakers during Monday's 119-104 loss.

The Jazz were able to score the ball a bit, but their defense continues to hurt them. They will finish this season with the worst record in the Western Conference and have a decision to make on free-agent Hayward. His 41.3 percent from the field is a weakness, but it's hard to be too tough on him considering the lack of help around him on the perimeter.

Gordon Hayward made just 5-of-13 from the field for 16 points during Sunday's 116-96 loss to the Thunder, adding two boards, nine assists and two turnovers.

He had himself a nice March and entered today with averages of 16.7 points, 4.0 boards, 5.5 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.2 blocks and 1.1 triples on 47.5 percent from the field. The big increase here was the field goal shooting, which was up from a Brandon Jennings-like 34.1 percent back in February. Hayward is looking at a nice pay day in the offseason.

Gordon Hayward SG/SF UTA 22 Days

Gordon Hayward scored 32 points on 10-of-19 shooting (3-of-6 3PTs, 9-of-10 FTs) with two rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block in the Jazz's 114-94 loss to the Pistons on Monday.

Hayward's field goal shooting has soared to 47.6 percent over the last month, as expected, but the other numbers haven't followed making it somewhat of a wasted opportunity for him. Including tonight he has hit just 73.6 percent shots from the line on 4.5 attempts per game, so tonight's 9-of-10 mark could be an indicator that he's ready to get back on track there. With Alec Burks out right now, he is the only real weapon the team has besides Trey Burke (15 points, two assists).

Gordon Hayward played a whopping 44 minutes and hit 7-of-15 shots for 22 points, two rebounds, eight assists, three steals and a 3-pointer in Saturday's win over the Sixers.

He's been shooting it better lately and his numbers have followed. Despite some poor shooting this season, Hayward should be in fantasy lineups on most nights, as he's simply one of the best players in a Jazz uniform.

Gordon Hayward hit 6-of-8 shots in Friday's blowout loss to the Knicks, scoring 18 points with seven rebounds, five assists and two threes.

Hayward's shooting slump was bound to bounce back the other way and don't look now but over his last eight games he has hit 45.4 percent of his shots. If he can keep that up and keep from being dragged down by a team that has lost all of it's fight, then early round numbers should follow.

Gordon Hayward scored 20 points on 6-of-15 shooting (2-of-6 from deep, 6-of-6 from the line) with four rebounds, three assists and one steal in the Jazz's blowout loss to the Bucks on Monday.

Hayward and Enes Kanter were the only Jazz players worth anything on Monday and Hayward did well to get his numbers with the team imploding. He's in the midst of a 37.4 percent shooting stretch over his last 13 games and a regression in that department is on the way.

Gordon Hayward filled up the stat sheet against the Cavs in a loss on Friday with 18 points, seven boards, seven assists, two steals, two blocks and four 3-pointers.

He shot a respectable 6-of-13 from the field and is starting to come out of his slump after a 7-of-13 on Wednesday. Hayward has been filling it up all season in the stats department, but he's shooting just 40 percent from the field and ranks last among Western Conference shooting guards. He hasn't shown any signs of improvement, so he's more of a hold.

Gordon Hayward just missed a triple-double on Wednesday during a 109-86 win over the Suns, scoring 17 points with 10 boards, nine assists and one 3-pointer on 7-of-13 from the field.

The stats are nice, but the solid shooting might be the best part of this line. Hayward entered tonight shooting a paltry 30.4 percent in February with averages of 11.1 points, 5.1 boards, 5.6 assists, 1.9 steals, 0.6 blocks and 0.6 triples. If he can somehow get his shooting act together, he'd have early-round value in standard formats.

Gordon Hayward SG/SF UTA 2 Months

Gordon Hayward hit just 2-of-10 shots for five points, zero rebounds, zero assists, two steals and two blocks in 24 minutes on Saturday.

The buy-low window is wide open, as Hayward has been struggling with his shot all season long. His shot may never be right this year, but he's still averaging 12.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.8 steals, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 3-pointers over his last five, despite tonight's disaster. We say 'buy!'

Gordon Hayward shot 3-of-11 from the field for nine points in Wednesday's 105-99 loss to the Nets, adding five boards, three assists and one 3-pointer.

His name has popped up in uniformed trade rumors, but just about any player on a bad team can say that. While the Jazz did not sign him to an extension before this season started, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll be letting him walk this summer. Eric Bledsoe is a similar example. Hayward's fantasy owners should consider him a hold unless his field goal shooting woes are too much to take.
