Andrew Bogut ran out of gas in Monday's loss to the Spurs and had 10 points, 15 boards, four assists, one steal and one block in 37 minutes.

The game was played at a fast pace and the Spurs took 105 field goal attempts against the Warriors. Bogut played 27.7 minutes per game in the series against the Nuggets and asking him to play over 32 minutes most likely won't end well for the Warriors due to either fatigue or the risk of injury.

Andrew Bogut (ankle) will start Game 1 on Monday despite being limited during Sunday's practice.

"I think it's important to make sure that Steph [Curry] and Bogut get as much time to recover as possible," said Mark Jackson. Bogut needed an anti-inflammatory shot prior to Game 6 in the first round but has said that he won't have any more palliative shots during the playoffs.

Andrew Bogut took an anti-inflammatory shot in his ankle before Game 6 on Thursday, but he doesn't intend to have any more shots in the playoffs.

Bogut said this was the first shot he's taken in his career and it's anyone's guess how he'll hold up vs. the Spurs in the second round. His presence is critical for the short-handed Warriors, who may only have David Lee (hip) available for a few minutes per game.

Andrew Bogut revealed he had a painkilling injection in his ankle prior to Game 6 on Thursday.

"I almost didn't play today, to be honest with you," he said. "I took a shot before the game, the first one I've taken all year, that I've ever taken in my career. I'm very, very good now, but I'm not looking forward to waking up in the morning." Bogut's ankle issues are not going away, and that's especially concerning given the microfracture surgery he had on it previously.

Andrew Bogut looked healthy to help give Golden State a 4-2 series win over the Nuggets with playoff career highs of 14 points and 21 boards.

Despite being a game-time decision, he played a surprising 39 minutes, shot 7-of-10 from the field, pulled down seven offensive boards and blocked four shots. It was vintage Bogut and the Warriors looked like a different team on defense with the Aussie as the last line of defense. They're going to need his help with the Spurs leading the Western Conference in field goal percentage this season.

Andrew Bogut is in the starting lineup to face the Nuggets in Game 6.

He was fully expected to play even though he tweaked his ankle in Game 5. The Nuggets will likely try to attack the rim, so Bogut's presence is going to be an important factor.

Andrew Bogut reportedly tweaked his ankle in Game 5, but he's fully expected to play in Game 6 on Thursday.

Bogut was able to go through a "light" workout on Wednesday despite tweaking the ankle, so while we don't think it's a serious concern, it's always worth noting when it comes to Bogut's surgically-repaired ankle. Bogut was ineffective in his 18 minutes in Game 5 and the Warriors will need more from him on Thursday night vs. Denver.
