Andrew Bogut C GS 12 Days

Bogut (illness) will start Tuesday, as long as he does not have a relapse before the game, the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons reports.

This is the first game that Bogut will start since returning from injury, with Marreese Speights returning to the bench, although both players should see somewhat equal playing time until Bogut is back to operating at full strength.

Bogut (illness) will be available Tuesday against the Jazz, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Bogut was considered questionable for the contest after missing morning shootaround, but it looks like his condition has improved enough to give it a go. Marreese Speights should see steady work as well if Bogut is limited in any way.

Bogut missed shootaround with an illness and is considered questionable to play Tuesday against the Jazz, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Bogut was sent back to the team hotel prior to shootaround, and he'll rest up throughout the afternoon in hopes that his condition improves. The big man was expected to return to the starting lineup Tuesday, but if he's held out, Marreese Speights will likely continue to start. Golden State is also still without Festus Ezeli (ankle), who did not make the trip to Salt Lake City.

Coach Steve Kerr said Monday that there's a strong possibility Bogut returns to the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Utah, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Bogut has come off the bench in two games since returning from injury, but with his knee injury now behind him, the big man should replace Marreese Speights in the starting five within the next game or two. Once that happens, expect Bogut to begin seeing close to his season average of 24.5 minutes per game, with Speights seeing his fair share of the minutes as the backup with Festus Ezeli (ankle) sidelined. The Warriors will continue to exercise caution with Bogut, however, and Kerr said he'll consider resting the center for one game during the team's upcoming four-games-in-five-nights set.

Bogut, who has come off the bench in the two games since his return from a knee injury, will be re-inserted to the starting lineup, according to head coach Steve Kerr, CSN Bay Area reports.

Bogut will replace Marreese Speights, who has filled in at center since Bogut and Festus Ezeli (ankle) became unavailable. Kerr didn't set a date for Bogut's return to the starting five, but did say it will "happen pretty soon." Perhaps as soon as Tuesday night against Utah.

Bogut (knee) will no longer be on a minutes restriction moving forward, Monte Poole of CSN Bay Area reports.

Bogut has played in two games since returning from from a 12-game absence. In those two games he played 15 and 20 minutes respectively. It's still unclear whether he'll return to the starting lineup against the Jazz on Monday, but he's in line to play 20+ minutes. Putting this into perspective, he's currently averaging 24.5 minutes per game, almost all of which was attributed as a starter.

Bogut came off the bench again Friday in a win over the Cavaliers, scoring only four points (2-3 FG) and grabbing five rebounds in 20 minutes.

This was only Bogut's second game back from a knee injury. Bogut will eventually move back into the starting role when he's ready to take on more minutes. When he does, Bogut is one of the best fantasy centers as long as he's in the lineup because of his ability to rebound.

Bogut said his knee is responding well after playing 15 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Pacers, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Bogut returned to action for the first time since early-December, coming off the bench to score four points and grab eight rebounds. Assuming he doesn't suffer a setback before Friday night, he'll likely be back on the floor again to face the Cavaliers. Coach Steve Kerr has not stated when Bogut will return to the starting lineup, but he'll probably be inclined to bring the oft-injured veteran along slowly.

Bogut returned to the court and finished with four points (2-4 FG) and eight rebounds in 14 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's win over the Indiana Pacers.

Bogut hasn't played a game since early-December, so it was good to see him get back out on the court, even if he played only 14 minutes in a reserve role. As he continues to get healthy, he'll get more and more time and could return to the starting lineup likely within the next few games. Marreese Speights has shown some production as a fill-in lately, so they may not feel the need to rush him back into his regular minutes. The Warriors next game will be Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, so we'll have to wait and see what kind of playing time coach Steve Kerr decides to give Bogut moving forward.

Bogut will come off the bench Wednesday against the Pacers.

Bogut will make his return to the court after a successful pregame warmup, but will do so in a reserve role. Marreese Speights will keep his job as the starting center for the time being, but this is highly likely to change as Bogut nears full strength.
