Lou Williams G TOR 6 Months

Lou Williams will miss Tuesday's game against the Pistons with a sore hamstring.

He's day-to-day, but he's now missed two straight, which is a shame because he was heating up. Kyle Korver should see a few extra minutes tonight.

Lou Williams (sore left hamstring) remains questionable for Tuesday's game.

The Hawks don't practice on Monday so there will be no medical updates coming until shootaround on Tuesday. Hamstring injuries can be touchy so most fantasy owners should plan for the worst while hoping for the best -- if Williams does sit out again, his minutes will be dispersed among Kyle Korver, Shelvin Mack and Cartier Martin.

Lou Williams played great against his former team on Monday during a win over the Sixers, scoring 22 points with five boards, five assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

It was one of his best games of the year and it came with the expectations very low. He was basically out of the rotation before Kyle Korver (back) went down and he certainly wasn't a lock to be a key part of the rotation tonight. Still, Williams is a bit of a risky player to add in most leagues because his minutes have been up and down all year.

Lou Williams played 32 minutes off the bench against the Wizards during a 101-97 loss on Saturday, scoring 12 points with two boards, one assist, one steal and no turnovers.

He missed all four shots from deep and he continues to struggle on both ends of the floor. Kyle Korver (back) will likely come back and cut into Williams' minutes because of his lackluster play in this opportunity. He's only a very short-term add in deep leagues.

Lou Williams played well off the bench against the Blazers on Thursday with 16 points, four boards, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes.

He was getting roasted on defense over the past month or so and his offense wasn't really coming on, so he needed a big game for his confidence. Williams was out of the rotation back when Kyle Korver was healthy, so he'd be more of a short-term guy in most cases.

Lou Williams played 32 minutes and hit 3-of-10 shots and a 3-pointer for 10 points, two rebounds and six assists in a 107-83 loss at Minnesota.

This one was basically over at halftime and Jeff Teague was benched after just 19 minutes, clearing the way for Lou-Will to get some run. He had 17 points and two 3-pointers on Monday and it appears that he's out of the doghouse and back in the rotation for the Hawks, but we still don't trust him. Just keep an eye on Williams in case he keeps getting 30 minutes off the bench going forward.

Lou Williams played 28 minutes vs. the Suns on Monday with 17 points, four boards and two 3-pointers.

He was out of the rotation while Kyle Korver (back) was healthy, but he's seen his playing time increase in each of his last three games. Williams may go back to receiving DNP-CDs upon Korver's return, so he only has short-term value at best.

Lou Williams returned to the lineup for Friday's game with two points in 15 minutes.

He was away from the team last week and has been available to play since Saturday, but he fell out of the rotation. Kyle Korver (back) did not play, which gave Williams an opportunity tonight. He can remain on the wire in most cases.

Lou Williams (personal) has rejoined the Hawks and he'll be available for Saturday's game.

Whether he'll actually take the court vs. the Nuggets is another question, as he's recently fallen out of the rotation in favor of guys like Shelvin Mack, Dennis Schroeder and Cartier Martin.

Lou Williams (personal) is expected back for Saturday's game against the Nuggets.

Williams has been excused from the team for a few days due to the birth of his daughter. He should return to his normal scoring role off the bench Saturday.
