Scott Brooks said that Russell Westbrook will sit out during some of the Thunder's upcoming back-to-back sets.
OKC has six back-to-backs remaining in the regular season, creating a potential minefield of DNPs, and Brooks hasn't yet said which games WB will miss. The next six games are all comprised of back-to-backs: March 16/17, 20/21 and 24/25, so owners should keep a close watch for updates. Whenever Westbrook does sit out, Reggie Jackson should immediately get a bump in playing time and production.

Russell Westbrook carved up the Lakers during Thursday's easy 131-102 win with 29 points, nine assists, three steals and four 3-pointers in just 23 minutes.
He's always a lightning rod for attention due to being the hero or goat late in games. As far as the stats go, there aren't many who can do the things Westbrook does and he's showing it right now. Since the All-Star break, he ranks first in offensive efficiency, second in usage rate behind Carmelo Anthony and fourth in assist percentage among players with at least 20 minutes per game. There's a chance he gets a night off here and there, but he'll still put up big numbers.

Russell Westbrook faced off with Patrick Beverley on Tuesday, finishing with 24 points, four rebounds, seven assists, four steals and a 3-poineter on 6-of-14 shooting.
He also hit 11-of-14 free throws in the tough win, and managed to keep his cool, for the most part, with Beverley in his face for much of the game. Beverely even tried the "timeout steal" play that injured Westbrook's knee and resulted in three surgeries and knocked him out of the playoffs last year. This has turned into the best one-on-one rivalry and every NBA fan should be rooting for a matchup between the Thunder and Rockets at some point in this year's playoffs.

Russell Westbrook scored 20 points with seven boards, eight assists, three steals and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes vs. the Lakers on Sunday.
It was a classic Westbrook game as he hit clutch shots and made some key mistakes down the stretch today. He's already shaken off the rust from his knee injury and is attacking the basket like he's always been. In his previous seven games since returning from injury, Westbrook averaged 21.0 points, 5.1 boards, 7.3 assists and 2.3 triples on 50.0 percent from the field. He's one of the best point guards in the NBA for producing stats. As an aside, that does include turnovers and he had a season-high eight today.

Russell Westbrook hit 13-of-22 shots and four 3-pointers for a season-high 36 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and four steals in Thursday's tough loss to the Suns.
Westbrook just missed another triple-double (he had one Tuesday) and was a beast all night. He might have been on some benches in weekly leagues, as the Thunder play just three times this week, while Jordan Farmar and the Lakers go five times. And if you were in that boat, we feel for you. Westbrook is setting up for a big finish and owners who rode through the storm with him all season could be ready to cash in when it counts.

Russell Westbrook put up a triple-double in just 20 minutes against the Sixers on Tuesday, scoring 13 points with 10 boards, 14 assists, three steals and one 3-pointer.
The last player to put up a triple-double in less than 21 minutes was Jim Tucker back in 1955 when he did it in 17 minutes. This outburst by Westbrook is probably more about how horrible Philadelphia is, but it still a nice reminder of what the former All-Star is capable of doing in the stat sheet. OKC has won three consecutive games and looks like the best team in the Western Conference after a brief adjustment period upon Westy's return.

The Thunder used a 31-point fourth quarter to knock off the Bobcats on Sunday, led by Russell Westbrook's 26 points on career-best 10-of-12 shooting.
That's an 83.3 percent mark which he's never done before on a minimum of 10 attempts, and it was even more impressive given that four of his makes came from downtown. He added two rebounds, five assists, two steals and five turnovers in a mere 25 minutes of action, and even with a minute-limit he's an elite fantasy option. After dropping three games following Westbrook's return, OKC has now won two straight.

Russell Westbrook logged 29 minutes in Friday's win over the Grizzlies, hitting 7-of-12 shots (including a three) with two rebounds, six assists and three steals.
Westy hit 6-of-7 freebies and had another solid game while increasing his workload, too. Kevin Durant hit 12-of-24 shots (3-of-8 3PTs, 10-of-10 FTs) with six rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block, and Serge Ibaka put up his customary 16 and nine with three blocks of his own.

Russell Westbrook hit 8-of-17 shots and three 3-pointers for 24 points, three rebounds and nine assists in Wednesday's loss to Cleveland.
Westbrook has been back for three games and, you guessed it, the Thunder have lost all three of them. He will be bashed for disrupting the flow they had going, but once he gets back into the full swing of things, the Thunder are going to be hard to beat. And regardless of how Westbrook is performing in reality for OKC, he's getting close to 100 percent and should be ready to help his fantasy owners try to win a championship.
Russell Westbrook PG OKC 21 Days
Russell Westbrook remained rusty in his second game back from injury on Sunday, making just 3-of-13 from the field for 13 points with five boards, six assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes.
He only made 4-of-12 from the field in his return on Thursday and is starting off on the wrong foot. While there's really no way to compare how Westbrook has responded from injuries due to his first five indestructible seasons, he has usually been a slow starter in the beginning of seasons. He'll get it going soon enough.
