Jason Terry G HOU 1 Day

Terry (personal) will return to the Rockets on Saturday according to coach Kevin McHale, Fox 26 in Houston reports.

Terry will miss his second game Thursday after his wife gave birth Tuesday afternoon, but appears set to return Saturday. He has been coming off the bench recently, and will likely continue to do so moving forward.

Jason Terry G HOU 4 Days

Terry will not play Wednesday after his wife gave birth to the couple's child Tuesday afternoon.

Terry will miss at least one game, but the Rockets play again Thursday, so it's possible he could sit out that contest as well. The blow of his absence should be softened by the expected return of Isaiah Canaan from an ankle injury.

Jason Terry G HOU 8 Days

Terry came off the bench for 25 minutes against the Kings on Thursday and managed to put up 13 points (4-12 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one turnover during his time on the court.

Terry has been relegated to a role off the bench with the return of Patrick Beverley (hamstring) to the lineup. However, the veteran is averaging 31.5 minutes during his last two games off the bench and may be able to retain some of the value that he had while filling in for Beverley, albeit limited.

Terry will come off the bench Wednesday against the Warriors.

Terry held on to his spot in the starting lineup despite Saturday's return of Patrick Beverley, but will return to a reserve role Wednesday night. Beverley logged 19 points and six boards in Saturday's effort, leaving little doubt that he would be OK to take on a heavier workload moving forward. Terry would likely be the first point guard option off the bench if coach Kevin McHale decides to take a conservative approach with Beverley, but for now, his fantasy value takes a hit.

Jason Terry G HOU 13 Days

Terry remained in the starting lineup despite Patrick Beverly returning and scored 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt) with two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Saturday's win against the Suns

This was Beverly's first game back after missing the last six with a hamstring injury, so we'll take Terry's Saturday start with a grain of salt here. Terry has been a nice surprise over the last week for fantasy owners, averaging 16 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.3 steals in that span. He remains a fantasy asset until his minutes begin to decrease.

Jason Terry G HOU 14 Days

Terry scored 19 points (7-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT) with four rebounds, six assists and one steal in 43 minutes during Friday's win against the Timberwolves.

Terry is averaging 17 points, four rebounds, five assists and three three-pointers over the past three games and continues to have short term value while Patrick Beverley and Isaiah Canaan are out.

Jason Terry G HOU 16 Days

Terry scored 16 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3P, 3-5 FT) with five assists, four steals and three rebounds in 31 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Grizzlies.

Patrick Beverley and Isaiah Canaan both appear to be out of action for at least another few days, so Terry should remain a solid play for Friday's game against the T-Wolves.

Jason Terry G HOU 20 Days

Terry started in place of Patrick Beverley (hamstring) and Isaiah Canaan (ankle) at point guard and scored 18 points (7-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt) with six rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes Saturday.

As long as Canaan and Beverley remains out, Terry figures to see the majority of minutes next to James Harden and will be useful in most fantasy leagues, but when the injuries heal, his production will not warrant ownership in standard leagues. If you have a spot, he's absolutely worth a pick up, but the limited window makes it hard to justify dropping anyone of value to get him onto your team.

Terry will start at point guard Saturday against the Bucks, Rockets announcer Craig Ackerman reports.

Terry will move into the lineup with both Patrick Beverley and Isaiah Canaan sidelined. He could see an increase from his average of 21.5 minutes per game this season, but it's not entirely clear how he and Nick Johnson will split the point guard duties.

Jason Terry G HOU 1 Month

Terry is averaging 21.3 minutes on the court over the first six games of the season.

Terry has seen consistent time on the court this season despite the injury to fellow guard Patrick Beverly (hand). Isaiah Canaan has stepped up in the absence of Beverly, so the 21.3 minutes that Terry has been averaging might be indicative of the workload he'll be given this season.
