Teague returned to Tuesday's game after suffering a floor burn in the first quarter.

It appeared that he may have suffered a hand injury after falling, as he went to the locker room with a trainer, but the floor burn shouldn't affect his status going forward.

Jeff Teague admitted that to become an elite NBA point guard he will "probably need to get stronger" during the offseason.

Teague averaged 16.5 points, 0.9 threes, 6.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game while guiding the Hawks into the postseason, and feels that he took his game to "another level" thanks to coach Mike Budenholzer. "Honestly, he just put the ball in my hands," Teague said. "He told me to play and enjoy it. He believes in every one of us." After another offseason getting familiar with his teammates and coaches, Teague should be poised for an even bigger campaign in 2014-15.

Jeff Teague made just 5-of-16 from the field for 16 points during Saturday's 92-80 loss to the Pacers, adding three boards, three assists, two steals, one block and five turnovers.

The entire Hawks team had just 10 turnovers and Teague just didn't have it today. They set a playoff record with a ridiculous 44 attempts from deep, making just 11 of them. Teague, Paul Millsap, Pero Antic and DeMarre Carroll missed all 15 of their attempts from beyond the arc and many of those were wide-open looks. Considering the volume of shots at 92, this is one of the worst shooting games in the history of the NBA playoffs. As for Teague, he'll have little competition next season and still has room to grow at just 25 years old.

Jeff Teague scored a game-high 29 points during Thursday's 95-88 loss to the Pacers with three boards, two assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

He made 9-of-21 from the field and the Hawks shot 35.8 percent as a team. They attempted a whopping 22 attempts from beyond the arc in the first half, finishing at 9-of-35 from that range in the game. Teague has gained a lot of confidence and he'll have a ton of responsibilities for Saturday's Game 7 in Indiana.

Jeff Teague had 14 points, two 3-pointers, six rebounds and seven assists in the Hawks' Game 4 defeat, but he shot just 5-of-15 from the field with four turnovers and zero steals.

Six of Teague's shots came within five feet of the hoop, but his mid-range struggles mirrored the Hawks as a whole -- they got some buckets in the paint and went a whopping 11-of-31 from downtown, but made only five buckets between 5-24 feet from the hoop. They'll try to regain control of the series during Game 5 on Monday.

Jeff Teague dominated the Pacers during Thursday's Game 3 98-85 win with 22 points, two boards, 10 assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

His 10 dimes were a playoff career-high and he absolutely gashed the Pacers with his penetration. Teague hit a wild one-legged 3-pointer with the shot clock winding down in the fourth quarter which helped carry the Hawks to the win. He's had an up-and-down season due to a prolonged slump in the middle of the year, but he did shoot 52.7 percent from the field in April and is playing his best ball since November. The Hawks will look to take a commanding 3-1 lead in Game 4 at home on Saturday.

Jeff Teague was guarded by Paul George on Tuesday and hit 6-of-13 shots and a 3-pointer for 14 points, five rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in 28 minutes.

He hardly played in the third quarter, when the Pacers blew it open with a 17-0 run, and wasn't really needed by the time he was ready to re-enter the game. George didn't do much to slow down Teague in the first half and you have to think Teague will play a bigger role in the third quarter of Game 3 in Atlanta on Thursday. The series is tied 1-1 with Games 3 & 5 set in Atlanta.

Jeff Teague hit 9-of-19 shots, a 3-pointer and 9-of-10 free throws for 28 points, three rebounds, five assists and a steal in Saturday's Game 1 101-93 win over the No. 1 seeded Pacers in Indy.

Paul Millsap added 25 points, eight rebounds, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers in the win. The Pacers look like the worst No. 1 seed in history, but it's early. The Hawks now hold homecourt advantage and the Pacers are going to have to make some sweeping changes if they're going to come back. George Hill and Roy Hibbert don't match up well against the Hawks, and Frank Vogel may have to bench them in order to get the Pacers going. It's been a wild opening Saturday, as all three away teams (Hawks, Warriors, Nets) have won today.

The Hawks needed this game for their playoff chances and now hold a two-game lead over Knicks with both teams set to play four more games to finish the season. Teague has been hot over his last five, averaging 20.0 points, 7.8 dimes, 0.8 steals and 2.4 triples on 53.1 percent from the field. It's been a bumpy ride for Teague this season, but he's finishing strong.
