Marco Belinelli (abdomen) is not expected to play on Thursday against the Nets.

With Richard Hamilton (back) still out indefinitely, it's the Jimmy Butler show until further notice and is as close to a lock for 40-plus minutes as there is in the NBA right now.

Marco Belinelli admitted he is still feeling pain in his abdomen.

Belinelli isn't going to play on Tuesday and sounds questionable for Thursday as well. At this point, Jimmy Butler should not be floating around on any waiver wires. He's looking at 40-plus minutes and the Bulls play four times in the next six days.

Marco Belinelli (abdomen) is a game-time decision on Tuesday against the Wizards.

With Richard Hamilton (back) still out, Jimmy Butler would be in line for a ton of minutes again if Belinelli sits out. As the starting shooting guard, Butler is averaging 14.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.3 assits, 2.5 steals, 0.8 blocks and 1.3 3-pointers on 44 percent shooting while playing 42.5 minutes.

Marco Belinelli (abdomen) will not play against the Pistons on Sunday.

The Bulls are thin in the backcourt and they've been utitlizing a Nate Robinson-Kirk Hinrich backcourt for a sizable portion of the games. Jimmy Butler will get the start again and he'll need a better effort after a disastrous Saturday.

Marco Belinelli (strained abdomen) is "very close" to returning, according to Tom Thibodeau.

The Bulls "just want to make sure" that Marco doesn't aggravate the injury by returning too soon, and it's possible that he'll rejoin the lineup vs. the Pistons on Sunday.

Marco Belinelli (abdomen) will not play against the Mavs on Saturday.

Belinelli will miss his third straight game Saturday, although Jimmy Butler has been a solid replacement. Expect Butler to again get the lion's share of minutes at shooting guard since Richard Hamilton (back) remains sidelined. As long as he's getting between 35 and 40 minutes, Butler is a solid spot starter in most formats.

Marco Belinelli will be a game-time decision on Saturday due to his abdominal strain.

Belinelli has missed two straight games, but Jimmy Butler has filled in admirably in his absence and would draw a third consecutive start if Belinelli can't play. With Richard Hamilton (back) still out, Butler is a good bet to see at least 40 minutes and produce a nice fantasy line as long as Belinelli winds up sitting out.
