J. J. Redick SG LAC 10 Hrs

J.J. Redick said he feels "refreshed" on Friday as the Clippers prepare for a deep playoff run.

He has been dealing with a bulging disc in his back, missing 25 games while rehabbing. When asked if he anticipates head coach Doc Rivers placing a limit on his minutes, Redick said he will remain ready when his number is called. "If we look at it from need in the game, needing every win we can get, if he needs me, I'm available." Redick posted a career-high 15.2 points per game in his first season in Los Angeles.

J.J. Redick had 18 points and four 3-pointers in just 17 minutes, and will take the night off on Wednesday.

Jamal Crawford and Darren Collison should pick up his slack, but they could probably use some rest as well. It's probably best to avoid the Clippers' shooting guards in fantasy on Wednesday. Collison had 10 points in 24 minutes on Tuesday, while Crawford hit 3-of-9 shots and zero 3-pointers for nine points in 31 minutes.

J. J. Redick SG LAC 3 Days

J.J. Redick will start along with the other Clippers regulars on Tuesday, but Doc Rivers says he won't play on Wednesday.

The Clippers want to win out and hope the Clippers lose again to get the No. 2 seed, but it's still a long shot. It sounds like all systems go for the Clippers tonight, so play them as you normally would. All bets are off for Wednesday, though.

J. J. Redick SG LAC 6 Days

J.J. Redick scored 13 points in 32 minutes as the Clippers sailed past the Kings on Saturday, while Matt Barnes added 12 points in 30 minutes.

Both guys will retain their starting jobs with Jamal Crawford (calf) back in action, though their playing time and shot attempts may dip given Crawford's prolific abilities as a sixth-man. With only two games left on the schedule, it shouldn't matter very much for fantasy purposes.

J. J. Redick SG LAC 9 Days

J.J. Redick hit just 1-of-7 shots (all 3-pointers) for four points, three rebounds, eight assists and a steal in Wednesday's loss.

Redick is giving it a go after being out so long with a back injury, but it's clear the Clippers miss Jamal Crawford, who is out with an Achilles injury. Redick should be able to hold down the fort while the Clippers wait for Crawford to get well, but he's clearly not as effective as Crawford in the Clippers' grand scheme.

J.J. Redick will draw the start on Sunday vs. the Lakers.

Redick had a nice outing in his last game, playing 23 minutes and scoring 12 points, with two boards, one assist and two 3-pointers. With Redick starting tonight it's possible he could see a bump in minutes and production. Get the 3-point sniper in your lineups as the Clippers are going up against the hapless Lakers, but know that the Clippers play just two games next week.

J. J. Redick SG LAC 15 Days

J.J. Redick played 24 minutes in his return on Thursday after a 25-game absence, scoring 12 points with two boards, one assist and two 3-pointers.

Coach Doc Rivers said he thought Redick looked a bit rusty in his return tonight. The 23 minutes is a great sign for Redick and he could get closer to 30 in Sunday's game against the Lakers. Considering Jamal Crawford (Achilles) could be out for the season, it makes sense to add Redick in standard leagues.

J.J. Redick will come off the bench in his return to the lineup on Thursday.

He will have his minutes a bit limited tonight in his first game back since Feb. 3. Darren Collison will get the start and is still worth using in most leagues. As for Redick, it will probably take him a few games to get it going again. Fantasy owners shouldn't count on him until next week.

Multiple team sources told Arash Markazi of ESPN that "the plan (is) for (J.J.) Redick to start against Dallas" on Thursday.

Doc Rivers gave him a 75 percent chance of returning and all signs point to Redick returning on Thursday night. It's unclear if he's ready for a full workload but one way or another he'll have some rust to knock off. We're not ready to downgrade Matt Barnes and Darren Collison by anything but a smidge just yet. Owners should keep in mind that the Clips play just two games next week. With low upside to begin with, Redick only makes sense as a speculative add in deeper daily leagues.

J. J. Redick SG LAC 16 Days

J.J. Redick (back) has a "75 percent" chance of playing on Thursday against the Mavs.

Doc Rivers first said he was a 50-50 shot but then revised his assessment to 75 percent, so clearly he's thinking about getting him on the floor. The Clippers play just two games next week and it would be very surprising if Redick was able to do anything for owners before then. Owners are probably safe to watch this action from the wire in most formats.
