Zach Randolph PF/C MEM 9 Hrs
Zach Randolph returned to the lineup on Thursday night, playing 31 minutes with a line of 12 points, 12 boards and seven turnovers on 4-of-13 shooting.
He didn't look all the way back from his ingrown toenail injury and was grimacing throughout the game. Randolph had four of Memphis' first five turnovers and his seven total are his highest since Nov. 20, 2007. He'll get a better matchup against David Lee on Saturday, so hopefully his toe injury didn't get worse tonight.

When asked whether he'd return to action on Thursday, Zach Randolph (toe) replied, "Sometimes you gotta be a warrior."
We're awaiting confirmation of his status one way or the other, but Z-Bo's quote makes it sound like he'll suit up vs. the Clippers. It stands to reason that he'll have limited mobility if he does play, which could mean a big night for Blake Griffin.

Zach Randolph (toe) said he's "expecting" to return vs. the Clippers on Thursday.
"I don't jump high, but I don't really have that little lift I usually do with my quick jump," Randolph said. We'll have a better feel for his status after Wednesday's practice but this might be headed for another game-time decision. Ed Davis scored 21 points as the fill-in starting PF in his absence vs. the Suns on Tuesday.

When asked whether Zach Randolph (toe) will play on Tuesday, coach Dave Joerger replied, "I wouldn't think so but we'll see if he can go at the last minute."
Z-Bo said on Monday that his toe was "still sore and as big as a balloon," so even though he's a game-time decision we're not optimistic. Ed Davis will start at PF if he's forced to sit out again.

Zach Randolph (ingrown toenail) didn't practice on Monday and said that he's "questionable" to return vs. the Suns on Tuesday.
"Gonna ride the bike [at practice] and put a little pressure on [the toe]," Randolph said. "It's still sore and as big as a balloon." This doesn't sound promising for his availability on Tuesday, the first of the Grizzlies' three games this week. Ed Davis will get another start at PF if Z-Bo can't suit up.

Zach Randolph (ingrown toenail) will not play against the Nets on Saturday.
This comes out of nowhere and Z-Bo played 35.4 minutes per game over his last 10 without any problems. Randolph should be considered questionable to face the Suns on Tuesday. The Grizzlies should get an extended look at Ed Davis tonight. In 28 starts last year, Boss averaged 12.4 points, 7.7 boards and 1.3 blocks, which seems like a fair expectation tonight.

In the Grizzlies' past six games, Zach Randolph is averaging 21.0 points and 10.7 rebounds.
It's a far cry from his numbers in the first eight games (12.6 points, 8.1 rebounds) and reflects the Grizzlies' shift back toward the post-heavy offense they leaned on throughout Lionel Hollins' tenure. With Marc Gasol out 6-10 weeks with a sprained knee, Z-Bo should continue to be the focal point of Memphis' offense.

Zach Randolph went for 16 and 10 to go with three assists and a steal in the Grizzlies' loss to the Spurs on Friday.
Randolph hit just 5-of-15 shots and he hit 6-of-8 free throws on the night, and his season-long outlook got stronger with Marc Gasol staring down an MRI on Saturday for his knee.
