Pargo was waived Tuesday, ESPN's Marc Stein reports. Elliot Williams will be called up from the D-League on a 10-day contract to replace Pargo (who was dealing with a back injury) as backcourt depth.

Pargo (back) will miss at least another week, per coach Steve Clifford, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports. Earlier this week, it was reported that the Hornets were hoping to get Pargo back at some point this week, but he's still dealing with soreness in his lower-back. Pargo is without a firm timetable, but he has a good chance to see an uptick in minutes once he returns, as Kemba Walker (knee) is slated to miss around six weeks.

Pargo (back) may be available to play later this week, the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell reports. He has missed the last 16 games with a sore lower back, but has resumed practicing and it seems like he may return before the All-Star break. Should Kemba Walker's knee injury end up being serious, Pargo could be useful in deeper leagues, but for now he can be left on the waiver wire in most formats.

Nevertheless, the 35-year-old will look ahead to Tuesday's game against the Spurs as his next possible return date.

Pargo (back) remains out for Thursday's game against the Raptors. Pargo has not played since Dec. 22 as he continues to battle lower-back soreness. However, even when healthy, Pargo has not made much of an impact this season as Charlotte's third point guard.

Pargo (back) is out for Friday's game against the Cavaliers. Pargo will miss a fifth straight game, but he hasn't been ruled out beyond Friday. The Hornets will face the Magic on Saturday, in the second game of a back-to-back.

Pargo (back) will not play Monday against the Bucks. Pargo will miss his fourth straight game while dealing with soreness in his lower back. Even when healthy, though, the veteran guard holds little fantasy value and has appeared in only three games this month.
