Outlaw (Achilles) was waived by the Sixers on Monday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Outlaw has hit the streets courtesy of two moves -- a trade from the Knicks to the Sixers, who promptly waived him -- and is now a free agent. With the Knicks, he appeared in two of seven preseason tilts, totaling a mere 10 minutes on the court. If he couldn't find a place on the wing in the ongoing rebuilding projects in New York or Philadelphia, the D-League or abroad are his likely landing spots in the coming weeks.

Outlaw (Achilles) was traded to the 76ers on Monday in exchange for Arnett Moultrie, a 2019 second-round pick, and the right for the Sixers to swap 2018 second-round picks with the Knicks, Steve Popper of The Record reports. Moultrie has already been waived by New York. The deal saves the Knicks some cash, as they won't have to waive Outlaw, who's owed $3 million this season, in order to make room for Travis Wear on the roster. The Sixers, meanwhile, gain additional future picks while continuing to cut costs. Philadelphia is expected to waive Outlaw in the near future, and Jason Richardson is now the only player on the roster who was with the team when GM San Hinkie took over in May of 2013.

Outlaw (Achilles) was a limited participant in practice Tuesday, Steve Popper of The Record reports. Outlaw is still dealing with an Achilles strain and is unlikely to play Wednesday against the Wizards in the exhibition finale. The Knicks hope he'll be able to get a full practice in prior to the opener next Wednesday, though it remains to be seen how realistic a goal that is.

Outlaw (Achilles) will not play Monday against the Bucks. The veteran continue to nurse an Achilles strain, and he'll be held out of Monday's showdown with the Bucks. Continue to monitor Outlaw's status on a game-to-game basis, though he only holds value in deeper leagues.

Outlaw (Achilles) did not practice Saturday. He hasn't had a relevant moment in the NBA in quite some time, and even if he were healthy, he'd be an afterthought in most fantasy leagues.

Outlaw was not able to practice Friday with a mild Achilles strain. The severity of Outlaw's strain is still undetermined and will have to be evaluated as the preseason continues. Outlaw's first benchmark to pass will be when the Knicks face the Bucks on Monday and he'll be a considered a game time decision.

Outlaw was dealt with Quincy Acy from the Kings to the Knicks on Wednesday, USA Today reports. Outlaw joins the Knicks to add depth to their options at small forward. In 16.7 minutes per game last season, the 29-year-old Outlaw averaged 5.4 points and shot 35 percent from downtown.

Travis Outlaw made a surprise start when Rudy Gay was ruled out with a sore back and hit 11-of-20 shots and a 3-pointer for a season-high 24 points, five rebounds and four assists in Tuesday's loss to the Thunder. Gay's wife could go into labor at any time, causing him to miss more games, and Outlaw could easily find himself in the starting lineup going forward. He's not a must-own player, but if you're in a deep league looking for a guy who could finish up strong over the rest of the regular season, he's worth a shot. Just keep in mind this was his first 20-point game all season.

Travis Outlaw hit five triples in the Kings' blowout loss to the Thunder on Friday, finishing with 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting, four rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes. The Kings lacked scoring with DeMarcus Cousins playing just 17 minutes due to foul trouble (and the score), and Isaiah Thomas out while the team evaluates Ray McCallum. This game was out of reach in the first quarter and it's going to take another game like this for us to give him any consideration.

Travis Outlaw came off the bench to hit 6-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points in 27 minutes on Wednesday. He had a similar game back on Feb. 19, and scored 13 points last Friday, but unless he starts performing like this on a regular basis, there's nothing to see here.
