Paul Millsap PF UTA 3 Months
Paul Millsap (gastric distress) did not practice on Thursday, but he's fully expected to play on Friday against the Blazers.
It sounds like Millsap had an upset stomach, but hopefully he'll be fine for Friday. If for some reason Millsap suffers a setback and can't play, Derrick Favors would be extremely appealing for fantasy owners as Enes Kanter (shoulder) has already been ruled out.

Paul Millsap had 12 points, four rebounds, two steals and a block on 6-of-9 shooting Wednesday, but played just 23 minutes.
Derrick Favors got two more minutes off the bench and has been outplaying Millsap recently. It's impossible to tell which guy is going to be better from night to night, but as of right now, Favors is outplaying Millsap.

Paul Millsap played down the stretch of Friday's overtime loss, logging 34 minutes to go with 11 points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
Millsap was benched for most of the fourth quarter on Wednesday, and there was some misunderstanding with his quotes after that game that can be summed up by saying he wasn't nearly as public about his dissatisfaction as it may have sounded. Back to the important news, the benching looks to be less of a trend and more like a potential spot-occurrence.

Paul Millsap says he "has to live" with a reduced role after he sat out almost the entire fourth quarter Wednesday night.
Millsap missed the final 14:57 on Wednesday as coach Tyrone Corbin tries to juggle the minutes of starters Millsap and Al Jefferson while finding enough minutes for promising backups Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter. We're not panicking at this point considering Millsap still racked up 16 points, four rebounds and two steals in 25 minutes Wednesday, but it's worth keeping an eye on. Millsap and Jefferson are both set for free agency and the Jazz clearly want to develop their young replacements without giving up on the playoffs.

Paul Millsap returned from his sore knee on Wednesday and started, but hit just 1-of-5 shots for seven points, seven rebounds, three steals and zero blocks in a blowout loss to the Thunder.
The good news is that Millsap was back in action. The bad news is that none of the Jazz big men did much of anything tonight. Al Jefferson hit 4-of-13 shots for eight points, seven boards and a block, Derrick Favors hit 3-of-6 shots for six points, three boards and five blocks off the bench, while Enes Kanter had 12 points, five boards and no blocks in 23 minutes off the pine. Despite tonight's duds, Jefferson and Millsap remain must-starts when they're healthy, but Favors and Kanter aren't going to do much on most nights that the two starters are healthy.

Paul Millsap (knee) is expected to start against the Thunder on Wednesday, but he's technically listed as a game-time decision.
Millsap was listed as a game-time decision on Tuesday, and even though he'll be listed as such on Wednesday, Tyrone Corbin said Millsap is "fine" and "will start." As long as he's not a last-second scratch, Derrick Favors will shift back to the bench and both he and Enes Kanter hold significantly less fantasy appeal.

Paul Millsap (knee) will attempt to practice on Tuesday, but he's already being listed as a game-time decision for Wednesday against the Thunder.
Millsap being a game-time decision this early is better than ruling him out, but it's not a great sign. He's dealing with bruising in his quad and patella, so part of this will be a pain tolerance issue for MIllsap. If he's out of the lineup again, Derrick Favors should continue to start with Enes Kanter playing more off the bench. Favors had six points, eight boards and three blocks in 21 minutes on Monday while Kanter had 14 points, eight rebounds and a block in 20 minutes.

Paul Millsap (right knee) will not play against the Pistons on Monday.
He skipped Monday morning's shootaround and has excessive swelling to his quadriceps and patella tendons. Millsap is a warrior, but he should be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder. Derrick Favors will get the start and needs to be in all lineups while Enes Kanter will also get more playing time.

Updating a previous item, Paul Millsap (bruised quad, patella) did not go through shootaround on Monday and is doubtful to play.
It seems unlikely that Millsap will give it a go, but he said "don't count me out" when asked of his availability. Assuming he sits, and all signs point to him doing so, Derrick Favors should draw the start with Enes Kanter seeing more time as the backup big off the bench.

Paul Millsap (knee) had an MRI on Sunday which revealed "bruising of his right patella and quadriceps tendon," and he's listed as day-to-day.
The good news is that Millsap isn't dealing with anything more serious, but it still doesn't give us a clear indication of how long he'll be sidelined. The Jazz play Monday, Wednesday and Saturday this week, so we won't have to wait long to hear more on Millsap. Expect Derrick Favors to continue to start while Millsap is out with Enes Kanter playing more off the bench as well.
