Matt Barnes SF LAC 2 Days
Matt Barnes hit 7-of-13 shots and three 3-pointers for 17 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and three steals in Thursday's 142-94 win over the Lakers.
Had the game not been over after the first quarter, Barnes may have had a truly magical night. As it was, he hooked his owners up with a huge night and is simply rolling right now. Make sure he's on your roster and in your lineup if possible, as he's showing no signs of slowing down. He had 28 points and a full stat line on Tuesday, and has been playing at a high level for weeks.
Matt Barnes SF LAC 4 Days
Matt Barnes scored a game-high 28 points against the Suns on Tuesday to go with six boards, two assists, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers in 40 minutes.
His scoring also set a season high and he's really heating up. Over his last five, Barnes averaged 17.8 points, 4.8 boards, 2.4 assists, 0.8 blocks, 1.2 triples and 3.4 triples in 32.8 minutes. He's playing much better than newly-acquired Danny Granger and should be owned in standard leagues while he's rolling like he is.

Matt Barnes stayed hot on Saturday, hitting 5-of-9 shots and four 3-pointers for 14 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in another start for the Clippers.
Danny Granger's arrival in L.A. could hurt Barnes, but he's been rolling, averaging 15.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.2 3-pointers over his last five games. With or without Granger, Barnes deserves to be owned in all leagues right now.
Matt Barnes SF LAC 10 Days
Matt Barnes hit 5-of-9 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, two rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 33 minutes on Wednesday.
Jamal Crawford went down with a calf injury and could miss time, which should mean Barnes continues to get solid minutes. However, with Danny Granger likely heading to the Clips, he could receive a challenge for his starting job and playing time. Barnes should hold off Granger and is averaging 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.4 3-pointers over his last five games. But if Granger ends up in L.A. and Doc Rivers likes him, this could quickly turn into a position battle at small forward.
Matt Barnes SF LAC 12 Days
Matt Barnes scored 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting (including two threes) with three rebounds, three assists and one block over 34 minutes in Monday's win against the Pelicans.
Barnes has started looking like the ultra-efficient, versatile fantasy asset he was last season over the last week or so. Whether he's simply getting healthy or the Clippers realize it would be wise to get him going now that J.J. Redick is a total question mark, he is one more good game away from being a must-own player in standard formats.
Matt Barnes SF LAC 13 Days
Matt Barnes scored 24 points against the Thunder on Sunday with seven boards, one assist, two steals and six 3-pointers in 33 minutes.
This is his second impressive effort in a row following a 15-point, three-trey game in 35 minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday. The Clippers usually like to run a lot of three-guard lineup while at full strength, but without J.J. Redick (back) Barnes has been the answer at the small forward spot. Jared Dudley has been a ghost all season, so Barnes is worth a look in standard leagues.

The Clippers would prefer to include Matt Barnes instead of Reggie Bullock in a potential deal for Iman Shumpert.
This meshes with an earlier report of the Clippers wanting to keep their rookie. The Knicks really want to get rid of Raymond Felton's contract, so they would pretty much do anything they can do do so. Although, this deal seems very unlikely to happen.
Matt Barnes SF LAC 29 Days
Matt Barnes scored 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting (including three triples) with five rebounds, four assists and one steal over 36 minutes in Friday's win.
Barnes is getting big minutes with J.J. Redick out and we're not entirely sure how long that will be the case. Chris Paul's expected return on Sunday is at least a mild concern, even if he can help get Barnes some looks, because the Clippers aren't going to go away from Jamal Crawford much, if at all. The bottom line is that Barnes is worth at least a short-term look while Redick is out.
Matt Barnes SF LAC 1 Month
Matt Barnes played 40 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Heat, finishing with 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and a 3-pointer on 4-of-11 shooting.
He got a few extra minutes with J.J. Redick out tonight and we've seen him post lines like this before. But he usually backs them up with a week of ineffective stat lines and while there's no reason to think he won't do it again, with the kind of minutes he's getting Barnes should be on the radar in all leagues in case he gets hot. And he has rendered Jared Dudley useless by stealing his job. Dudley had three points in just 18 minutes tonight.
Matt Barnes SF LAC 1 Month
Matt Barnes hit just 1-of-9 shots (including a three) in Monday's blowout win, finishing with three points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 27 minutes.
Barnes hits a few more shots here and it's a vintage Barnes line. Maybe he caught whatever the Bucks players have contracted, and it's hard to get too analytical about a game like this. He's worth a look in 12-14 team leagues while Chris Paul is out.
