Kyle Korver SG/SF ATL 4 Days

Korver was unable to play in Monday's preseason game due to a personal matter but has since returned to the court in two preseason games.

Korver is back in training camp with the Hawks and is poised to begin his 2014-15 campaign. He'll continue to be a reliable source for threes as he's never averaged below 1.1 at any point in his career. In fact, he averaged 2.6 threes last season and will try to repeat that feat as he'll start for Atlanta at shooting guard once again.

Korver isn't playing in Monday's preseason contest against the Pelicans due to a personal matter.

The sharpshooter will yield his spot on the wing to John Jenkins. Currently, there's no word on a potential return date, but the Hawks don't take the court again until Saturday, giving him ample time to deal with his outside concern.

Kyle Korver made four 3-pointers and shot 6-of-9 from the field against the Pacers on Thursday for 20 points with six boards, one steal and two turnovers.

Maybe the Pacers missed the memo, but Korver led the NBA in 3-point percentage this season and he torched them tonight. In particular, he had three of his four treys from the corner, which is his strength thanks to a ridiculous 52.7 percent on his 131 attempts from there this regular season. The sharp-shooting swingman hit a dagger three in the win and the Pacers will have to do a better job of closing out on Korver's 3-point shots.

Kyle Korver finished Tuesday's Game 2 defeat with only three points on 1-of-5 shooting, while being primarily defended by George Hill.

Pacers coach Frank Vogel tweaked his gameplan by siccing Paul George on Jeff Teague, and the ploy held Atlanta to 85 points on 39.2 percent shooting. "You got to have speed to contain the basketball down there and to scramble to shooters," said Vogel, who also paired C.J. Watson with Hill for long stretches. "That's what we were trying to achieve." Now it is the Hawks' turn to make adjustments for Game 3.

Kyle Korver, Jeff Teague, DeMarre Carroll, Mike Scott and Pero Antic will start against the Bucks on Wednesday.

The starters will likely have some limited minutes tonight, so fantasy owners might want to watch out for guys like Jeff Teague, DeMarre Carroll and Kyle Korver. Mike Scott should still be solid and could have a nice line.

The Hawks will rest Kyle Korver on Monday with Lou Williams starting at SG in his place.

Korver is averaging 35 minutes per game in April but the Hawks are now gearing up for the playoffs and it makes sense to give their veterans some rest in a game with nothing at stake. Korver is shooting just 38.3 percent in the Hawks' past seven games so hopefully the rest will get him back on track.

Kyle Korver made four 3-pointers against his former team in a loss to the Bulls on Wednesday for his 12 points with four boards, one assist and four turnovers in 34 minutes.

He made just one 3-pointer in 27 minutes in his return on Monday and was able to get it going tonight. On the other hand, his four turnovers set a season high and he also had three in his return after missing six games. He'll be fine.

Kyle Korver played 27 minutes in his return from a back injury on Monday, scoring 11 points with two boards, two assists and one 3-pointer.

He shot just 1-of-6 from deep which is tied for the third-lowest shooting percentage from that range all year. Some rust was certainly expected after his missed six games, so he should have better luck on Wednesday. Keep him in your lineup.

Kyle Korver (back) and DeMarre Carroll are staring against the Sixers on Monday.

Korver went through shootaround this morning and will return after missing his last six games. He had been smoking hot in March, making 55.3 percent from deep for 2.9 makes per game. His fantasy owners should have him locked and loaded tonight.

Kyle Korver (back spasms) went through shootaround on Monday and may return to action vs. the Sixers.

Korver was wearing a starter's jersey and his potential return is a welcome relief for the Hawks, who have dropped all six games in his absence. Shelvin Mack has been filling in at SG but he should head back to the bench if Korver doesn't have any setbacks prior to tip-off.
