Royal Ivey started at shooting guard again on Tuesday and had 10 points, two rebounds, three assists, three steals and two 3-pointers on 4-of-9 shooting in 37 minutes.

He's starting in place of injured Nick Young, and could be worth a temporary pickup with Young's ankle injury possibly keeping him out all week. He had 17 points in another start on Saturday.

Royal Ivey scored a season-high 17 points in a start at SG on Saturday, making all six of his FG attempts, including 4-of-4 from downtown.

Ivey was promoted due to Nick Young's sprained left ankle. Young is day-to-day, which diminishes Ivey's appeal in standard leagues, though Doug Collins has been transparently unhappy with his starters lately anyway, and Young was averaging just 19.7 minutes in his previous three games. Deep league owners should at least keep a close eye on him.

Royal Ivey will start at shooting guard against the Bucks on Tuesday.

The move to the starting lineup is more of a negative statement on Dorell Wright than anything else. In 23 games this year, Ivey played just 11 minutes per game and shot 41.7 percent from the field. We'd leave Ivey on the wire in almost all leagues and Wright's value also takes a hit. Nick Young may have missed an opportunity here and we'll see how he performs in his usual bench role.

Royal Ivey will become a consistent part of the rotation, according to Doug Collins.

Collins like Ivey's toughness on the defensive end. It's not clear who will lose minutes as a result, but the Philadelphia Inquirer speculates that one of Jason Richardson, Dorell Wright and Nick Young will lose some time on the floor.

Royal Ivey (strep) will not travel with the team to Indiana and will not play against the Pacers on Friday.

With Jrue Holiday (foot) undergoing an MRI, Maalik Wayns could be staring at some serious playing time. Evan Turner should also do a lot of ballhandling if Holiday is unavailable, and he'd see all the minutes he could handle.
