Hinrich (illness) scored eight points (4-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt) to go along with one rebound, two assists and one block in 20 minutes Wednesday against the Hornets.

Hinrich came off the bench Wednesday as Aaron Brooks started in place or Derrick Rose (knee). He and Brooks could be in and out of the starting lineup and the Bulls could bring in some help to try to fill in for Rose, but Hinrich will only have limited value at best even if he does start.

Hinrich has missed the last two games, but he put in a full practice Tuesday and will be available against Charlotte. With Derrick Rose (knee) out for the foreseeable future, Hinrich should pick up some extra minutes, and he could enter the starting lineup in place of Rose. Unless Chicago makes a move to bring in another point guard, Hinrich and Aaron Brooks will split the duties.
