Jeff Green revealed that he fought fatigue earlier in the season.

Many are quick to forget about Green's open-heart surgery and how it impacts a professional basketball player, but Green's journey and recovery have been truly amazing. Green wears a customized padded tank top to protect the chest now, and while he's on pace to make a full recovery, Green is still not 100 percent and it's not clear when that might happen, but all signs continue to be positive in Green's recovery.

Jeff Green scored a team-high 21 points in Friday's Game 3 90-76 loss to the Knicks, while adding nine boards, four assists and two 3-pointers in 44 minutes.

He and Paul Pierce (17 points, five assists and one 3-pointer) each had five turnovers and Boston's offense has been a disaster in this series. They scored just 31 points in the first half and they've averaged just 75.0 points per game in their three losses. Doc Rivers put Jason Terry in the starting lineup and he's probably part of the problem for the Celtics. Quite frankly, they didn't have much of a chance against a hot Knicks team. They'll look to avoid the sweep in Boston on Sunday.

Jeff Green was terrific in Boston's loss to the Knicks on Saturday with 26 points, seven boards, two assists, three blocks and three 3-pointers in 46 minutes.

Green was the best player on the floor in the first half with 20 points, but he had six turnovers in thhegame, which ultimately became Boston's undoing. The big line is nothing new for Green and he averaged 19.1 points and 5.7 boards on 52.1 percent shooting in his last 10 games in the regular season. Green has earned his minutes and he'll have a lot of responsibilities, including guarding Carmelo Anthony.

Jeff Green reached his goal on Wednesday by playing in all 81 of the Celtics' games this season.

He had nine points in 17 minutes after missing last season due to heart surgery, and is one of the league's true feel-good stories. He'll also play a major role for the Celtics in the playoffs, and should make for a solid playoff league draftee, especially if the Celtics can get by the Knicks in Round 1.

Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry are out, while Jeff Green, Paul Pierce and Brandon Bass will all see limited minutes for the Celtics on Wednesday.

It's hard to predict who might go off for the C's tonight, but we doubt it's any of the players listed above. Avery Bradley, Courtney Lee, Jordan Crawford, Terrence Williams, Shavlik Randolph, Fab Melo, D.J. White and Chris Wilcox will all see extra minutes tonight. And we're guessing Crawford has the best chance at blowing up with a big line.

Jeff Green has something to prove to himself after missing all of last season after heart surgery, and is determined to play in all 82 regular-season games despite the fact the Celtics have nothing left to play for.

"For me, it's big -- missing a year, coming off of heart surgery," he said. "For me it's big to come back, play a full year, play every game in the playoffs and to contribute the way I've been in the second half of the season. I just want to continue to make progress and finish the season strong." While it's great news for his fantasy owners, Doc Rivers is still going to make sure Green gets some rest. "I just won't let him play a lot," he said.

Jeff Green (wrist), Paul Pierce (ankle) and Kevin Garnett (ankle) are all playing against the Magic on Saturday.

Green said that he expected to play and that he just lost some feeling after hurting his wrist on Friday. He's scored 17.6 points with plenty of stats to go around since the All-Star break and he's been a terrific pickup in fantasy. Green is safe to deploy in all leagues.
