Jeff Green F BOS 4 Days1 Comment

Green certainly wasn't there reason for the team losing, as he did everything he could to help his team get a win. He ended the night with 19 points (7-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, and two steals in 34 minutes.

Green has been one of the better options at small forward to begin the season and nights like this have been typical for him. Because of his ability to contribute across categories, as well as his contract, he's even been drawing a lot of interest from teams as a trade asset. If traded, it isn't guaranteed Green can sustain this kind of value, as it would depend on where he lands and whether he's given the same kind of minutes he gets in Boston. For now though, he's still one of the more underrated options in fantasy.

Green scored 28 points (10-17 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 8-9 FT) to go along with two rebounds, one assist, three steals and two blocks in 36 minutes Monday against the Suns.

Green continues to be a focal point of the Celtics offense and there is no reason to think he won't be throughout the season. He is also providing solid defensive numbers as he is averaging 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks a game.

Green scored 20 points (9-16 FG, 2-7 3P) with four rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 36 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Raptors.

He's off to a flying start this season, and while Green has always had the talent to be a true multi-category fantasy star his track record suggests that you may want to think about selling high on him.

Green scored 35 points (14-28 FG, 5-12 3P, 2-3 FT) with seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal in 39 minutes during Monday's loss to the Mavs.

He and Avery Bradley combined for 67 points, but didn't get much help from the rest of the Celtics' roster. Green won't have many nights where he fills up the stat sheet this thoroughly, but as one of the main offensive options in Boston he's capable of solid contributions in multiple categories on a regular basis.

Jeff Green F BOS 29 Days

Green scored 17 points (4-10 FG, 2-3 3P, 7-9 FT) with six rebounds, three assists and two steals in a team-high 36 minutes during Wednesday's 121-105 win over the Nets.

Green and Rajon Rondo will be the steadying veteran influences on a young Celtics roster this year, and as a result Green should be able to improve on last season's production.

Green (calf) scored nine points (3-12 FG, 1-5 3P, 2-6 FT) with five rebounds in 31 minutes during Wednesday's preseason loss to the Raptors.

The rust showed in Green's first action of the preseason, but the big workload is a good sign that he's healthy, and he has enough time before the start of the regular season to get up to speed. If the Celtics' young front court of Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk can take some of the offensive pressure off Green, he should be able to improve on last season's numbers.

Green has not practiced or played this week, and he appears doubtful to take the court Friday against Toronto. If he does, indeed, sit out, expect Evan Turner to see increased minutes.

Green (calf) is out for Wednesday's preseason game against the Knicks.

He was considered a game-time call after missing Tuesday's practice. It's not surprising that he will sit out, as a calf sprain is something that should heal prior to the season if the team is cautious with his minutes in the preseason.
