Danny Granger F MIA 2 Months

Unrestricted free agent Danny Granger has agreed to a two-year, $4.2 million deal with the Heat.

Granger will take the bi-annual exception with Miami, and will have a player option on the second season. Granger's days of a being a star player are behind him, but he's a solid locker room guy, and maybe he can be a decent role player for Miami. Through 12 games with the Clippers last season Granger averaged 8.0 points, and 2.3 rebounds on 42.9 percent shooting, so he is clearly no longer a fantasy option in any league.

Danny Granger reportedly doesn't plan to opt in on his 2014-15 contract that would pay him $1.36 million, however he does have interest in returning to Clippers.

Granger didn't do much in his 30 games with the Clippers, averaging just 8.0 points, 2.3 rebounds on 42.9 percent shooting. Once a fantasy stud, Granger is far removed from his prime and whether he's with the Clippers or a different team next year, he's not likely to have any fantasy value.

Danny Granger (hamstring) returned to action on Saturday, scoring three points in 12 minutes during a Game 1 loss to the Warriors.

Granger shot 1-of-6 from the field in 12 minutes. The Clippers' bench as a whole struggled with the exception of Glen Davis, who fired up the crowd while notching six points, six boards, three assists and three steals in 22 very active minutes.

Danny Granger (strained hamstring) will play in Game 1 vs. the Warriors on Saturday.

"He looked good," said Doc Rivers. "For a guy who hasn't played, he looked good." Granger isn't likely to play many minutes, especially since the Clippers are at full strength for the first time since mid-November, but his return gives L.A. one more weapon to counter the Warriors' prodigious perimeter game.

Danny Granger (hamstring) will practice on Thursday and is expected to play on Saturday.

He's been out since Mar. 27 with his hamstring strain and he's likely to be limited in his return. Granger's numbers are a little better with the Clippers compared to what he was putting up with the Pacers earlier this season, but he's not going be asked to do much as the Clippers make a playoff run.

Danny Granger, who has been out with a hamstring injury, could practice for the Clippers on Thursday or Friday.

Doc Rivers is hoping to have him back for the playoffs and all indications are that he will be ready to play. He won't be a huge part of what the Clippers do, but could help them win some playoff games if he can get hot off the bench occasionally.

Danny Granger (hamstring) shot around with the Clippers on Friday and hopes to return for the first game of the playoffs.

Granger's return to health is good news for the Clips' playoff chances, but it won't matter to fantasy owners with the regular season quickly winding down. L.A. can afford to ease him slowly back into the mix with J.J. Redick healthy and Jamal Crawford (calf) expected to play on Saturday.

Danny Granger (hamstring) is expected to miss the rest of the regular season.

He'll miss his fourth game tonight and the Clippers really won't miss him much. They're getting J.J. Redick back and could also play him at small forward along with Matt Barnes and Jared Dudley. Granger, a former first-round pick in fantasy drafts a few seasons ago, is not someone worth monitoring in the offseason.

Granger will head back to L.A. for treatment in the hopes that he can return to action in the Clippers' home game on Thursday, April 3. His absence means a few more minutes for Jared Dudley and Matt Barnes.
