Manu Ginobili SG SA 16 Days

Manu Ginobili left Tuesday's blowout loss with a left calf contusion and will not return.

It's hard to say how injured he is since the Wolves are destroying the Spurs, but it is worth noting that Gregg Popovich said earlier he wants to get Manu some more minutes down the stretch to get him ready for the playoffs. With this injury, that plan could be scrapped.

Manu Ginobili SG SA 21 Days

Manu Ginobili will sit out Thursday's game to rest, but all other healthy Spurs will be available.

This means Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard and Tiago Splitter avoided the dreaded DNP-CD and can be deployed as usual. It's a relief for fantasy owners considering the Spurs are playing their fifth game in seven nights, but Manu's owners won't be able to share in the good vibes.

Manu Ginobili SG SA 22 Days

Manu Ginobili scored 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block over just 19 minutes in the Spurs' 111-90 takedown of the Warriors on Wednesday.

This box score is about as balanced as you'll see due to the blowout and also the fact that it's the Spurs. Tony Parker went for 18 and eight, Tim Duncan went for 15 and eight, Kawhi Leonard scored 11 points with four steals, Danny Green scored five points with a three and a block, Patty Mills scored 13 points with a three, Marco Belinelli scored 12 points and Tiago Splitter went for nine and five in the blowout.

Manu Ginobili SG SA 24 Days

Manu Ginobili scored just six points on 2-of-6 shooting with two assists and two steals in 17 minutes on Monday.

Manu wasn't needed in the lopsided win over the Spurs and that's always something to worry about. On the bright side, the extra time on the sidelines might save him from being Popped. Any way you slice it it's dicey business using him right now.

Manu Ginobili SG SA 26 Days

Manu Ginobili scored 15 points off the bench against the Pelicans on Saturday during a 96-80 win with five boards, four assists, three steals and one block in 21 minutes.

He dunked tonight for the eighth time this season and has looked healthy. Ginobili's shot hasn't been great all year and made just 31.7 percent of his jump shots, but getting in the lane has really helped his efficiency. His owners won't enjoy the surprise DNPs over the last month, though.

Manu Ginobili SG SA 1 Month

Manu Ginobili scored nine points with five boards, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes on Monday.

He turned the ball over five times the team had 17, but that didn't stop the Spurs from hanging 113 on the lowly Sixers. Ginobili was rested on Saturday night and he was right back in the mix tonight. His owners will likely see a few more DNPs the rest of the way, though.

Manu Ginobili SG SA 1 Month

Manu Ginobili will not play against the Warriors on Saturday night.

He hasn't missed time since his hamstring issue from back in February and the Spurs are just proceeding with caution. Ginobili is having a great March, averaging 14.6 points, 4.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.8 triples on 52.6 percent from the field, so his owners shouldn't really make any hasty cuts.

Manu Ginobili SG SA 1 Month

Manu Ginobili torched the Jazz in 25 minutes on Sunday, making 8-of-11 shots to finish with a team-high 21 points including two 3-pointers.

He was joined in double-figures by fellow backups Patty Mills (12 points on four 3-pointers) and Marco Belinelli (12 points, five rebounds and four assists). Given the depth and mercurial nature of Gregg Popovich's rotations, only Manu is worth starting in 12-team fantasy leagues.

Manu Ginobili SG SA 1 Month

Manu Ginobili caught fire with 22 points in 22 minutes off the bench vs. Chicago, making 9-of-11 shots including 4-of-5 from downtown.

He chipped in two rebounds and one assist, and continues to be one of the league's most devastatingly efficient players on a per-minute basis. The Spurs have a seven-game win streak which they'll try to extend vs. the Blazers on Wednesday -- Manu played in San Antonio's most recent back-to-back set on Feb. 18/19 so with any luck he'll be in the lineup again vs. Portland.

Manu Ginobili SG SA 2 Months

Manu Ginobili came off the bench to hit 10-of-17 shots and two 3-pointers for 24 points, three rebounds, five assists and a steal in 27 minutes on Saturday.

Ginobili is heating up, averaging 14.2 points, 5.4 assists and 1.8 3-pointers over his last five games, but that probably means that Gregg Popovich is ready to cool him off. Ginobili has played in nine straight games after missing eight straight with a hamstring injury, so it would not be surprising to see him take a night off in the near future. But if he's in the Spurs' lineup, he should probably be in yours.
