Gibson started in place of Joakim Noah (ankle) against the Celtics Friday. He scored 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-3 FT) and added eight rebounds and two assists in 39 minutes.

As has happened many times over the past several seasons, whenever Noah misses time, Gibson steps into the starting lineup. As per the norm, in the larger starting role, Gibson's production and fantasy value increased instantly. Gibson rarely blows anyone away with these fill-in performances, but they are usually pretty reliable and consistent. As long as Noah is out, Gibson has start-worthy value in most formats.
