Pau Gasol PF/C LAL 3 Days

Pau Gasol (vertigo) has been ruled out for the rest of the regular season.

He's well enough to travel with the team and will be in street clothes on the bench against Memphis, Utah and San Antonio. Doctors believe Gasol will be ready to play in a couple weeks, but that's obviously a moot point with the Lakers having the worst season in the history of their franchise. Jordan Hill should be viewed as a must-start player the rest of the way.

Pau Gasol (vertigo) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. Memphis.

This move was expected as the Lakers have nothing to play for. Steve Nash (nerves) and Chris Kaman (calf) will join Gasol on the sidelines, which means that Jordan Hill will start, and he is in line for big minutes.

Pau Gasol has been going through therapy everyday to treat his vertigo.

"I'm in therapy for an hour and a half everyday," said Gasol. With the Lakers having absolutely nothing to play for, it's unlikely that Gasol will suit up for Sunday's game vs. Memphis. That means that Jordan Hill will draw another start, and he makes for a fine plug-and-play option.

Pau Gasol (vertigo) and Steve Nash (nerves) did not practice on Saturday, while Chris Kaman (calf) went through limited activities.

This basically rules out Gasol and Nash for Sunday's game vs. Memphis, after which the Lakers only have two games remaining in the regular season. It's increasingly unlikely that either veteran will take the court again this season, which leaves more opportunities for guys like Jordan Hill and Jordan Farmar.

Pau Gasol (vertigo), Chris Kaman (calf) and Steve Nash will not play against the Warriors on Friday.

Pau Gasol (vertigo) is officially listed as doubtful for Friday's game.

There's a good chance that Pau is done for the season, though he's feeling better and continues to be re-evaluated every day. Although it hasn't drawn much attention, Gasol will be one of the more talented players to hit the free agent market this summer.

Pau Gasol (vertigo) said on Tuesday that it's "unlikely" he'll play again this season, but that he is also still undergoing daily evaluation.

It's hard to imagine Gasol coming back to play in meaningless games for the Lakers, so owners can go ahead and drop him if you need a healthy body for the stretch run.

Pau Gasol (vertigo) and Chris Kaman (calf) will not play against the Rockets on Tuesday.

Gasol was feeling a little better on Sunday and was actually on the bench against the Clippers, but the Lakers are in no rush to bring him back with their disastrous season ending next week. Considering he's already been ruled out for tomorrow, he could miss multiple games. Jordan Hill makes for a strong start while Ryan Kelly and Robert Sacre also benefit.

Pau Gasol (vertigo) has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

The Lakers are reportedly in favor of shutting Pau down for the season, but for now he remains day-to-day following the "severe recurrence" of his illness. With Chris Kaman (calf) also slated to sit out Sunday, fantasy owners can more confidently deploy Jordan Hill, while extra minutes will also be available for Ryan Kelly and Robert Sacre.

According to the LA Times, the Lakers are leaning toward shutting down Pau Gasol (vertigo) for the season.

Gasol has already been ruled out of Friday's game against the Mavs after a severe recurrence of vertigo kept him confined in the team hotel Wednesday night. Given that there are only six games left in the Lakers' miserable season after that, throwing in the towel makes sense. Gasol, an impending free agent, may have played his last game in purple and gold. With Chris Kaman nursing a right calf injury, Jordan Hill is worth a look as a plug-n-play.
