Gasol has 23 points (10-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, and five assists in the loss to Cleveland on Sunday. He played 30 minutes.

Gasol was playing without his brother in the paint, Zach Randolph (knee), so he was afforded more offensive opportunities. He has back-to-back double-doubles for the first time since late November.

Gasol contributed 26 points (10-16 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks in 46 minutes during the Grizzlies' 117-116 3OT win versus the Spurs on Wednesday.

The rare Gasol three-pointer came on a pump-fake and step-through buzzer-beater that sent the game to overtime. Though the game going to overtime helped Gasol pad his stats a bit, he is certainly capable of putting up these types of big numbers on any given night. Gasol and the Grizzlies will face Marc's older brother Pau and the Bulls on Friday.

Gasol posted 19 points (8-20 FG, 3-6 FT), three rebounds, five assists, six blocks and two steals in 37 minutes during the Grizzlies' 113-107 win versus the Hornets on Friday.

Though he only managed to grab three rebounds the former Defensive Player of the Year made his presence felt on the defensive end, holding big Al Jefferson to 16 points on 7-21 from the field. Gasol gets it done on both ends of the floor. Not only is he one of, if not the best passing big men in basketball, he's also his team's top scorer. If you were smart enough to draft him, continue to enjoy his MVP-caliber production.

Gasol (knee) went for 30 points (9-14 FG, 12-13 FT), five rebounds, six assists and one steal in 37 minutes during the Grizzlies' 114-105 win versus the Mavericks on Tuesday.

Gasol was aggressive scoring the ball once again on Tuesday, and despite banging his already bruised knee he returned to the game to help finish off the Mavericks. He has been nothing short of spectacular all season long, and so long as he remains healthy he figures to continue producing solid numbers in every category except three-pointers.

Gasol apparently banged his recently-diagnosed bruised right knee during Tuesday's game against the Mavericks, but remained in the contest and has continued to play, The Commercial Appeal reports.

Gasol suffered a bone bruise in his right knee last Wednesday, but the ailment has not prevented the Spaniard from suiting up in recent games. That case persisted Tuesday, since Gasol played through any discomfort that ensued from bumping his knee against the Mavericks. While it's hardly ideal that Gasol's sore knee took a hit, it's also somewhat telling that the center is able to continue to play - a reassuring sign for fantasy owners.

Gasol (knee) contributed 28 points (9-20 FG, 10-11 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and four blocks in 41 minutes during the Grizzlies' 107-101 loss versus the Spurs on Friday.

Though the Grizzlies lost the game, Gasol showed no signs of being slowed by the bone bruise he suffered versus the Rockets on Wednesday. He downplayed the injury at shoot-around earlier in the day, and had a fantastic night while playing heavy minutes.

Gasol (knee) said he will play on Friday versus the Spurs, Ronald Tillery of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

Gasol suffered a bone bruise in his knee on Wednesday versus the Rockets, had his MRI on Thursday, and was listed as questionable for Friday's tilt versus the defending champs. However, Gasol went through shoot-around on Friday, downplayed the injury and stated he will in fact be active on Friday. It's possible he's still feeling some pain in his knee, but he's certainly not acting like it.

Gasol (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Spurs, The Associated Press reports.

It's possible that the Grizzlies will elect to hold him out of action on Friday just to be safe. Still, Gasol (knee) is a warrior, and it shouldn't shock anyone to see him in the starting lineup versus the defending champions. If Gasol is ruled out for Friday, expect Kosta Koufos to receive the start at center alongside Zach Randolph, with Jon Leuer likely to see more playing time as well.

Gasol battled some knee pain during Wednesday's loss to the Rockets, Rob Fischer of WHBQ 87.7 FM reports. He scored eight points and gathered seven rebounds in 25 minutes.

It's too early to push the panic button on Gasol missing time until he gets reassessed by team trainers Thursday, but it's certainly not an encouraging sign after an MCL tear cost him a large portion of the 2013-14 season. The top potential replacement option for Gasol in the lineup would seem to be Kosta Koufos, but he'd provide a huge downgrade for the Grizzlies on both ends of the court. Keep tabs on the Gasol's status over the next couple days, as the hopes of the Grizzlies -- and likely many fantasy teams -- hinge on his health.

Gasol credits his weight loss as the reason for his strong start, The New York Times reports.

Gasol entered the 2014-15 season boasting that he was in the best shape of his life and ready to be more aggressive offensively, and his words have held water. Over the last five games Gasol is averaging 25.0 points (60.5 FG, 91.7 FT), 8.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.7 blocks and 0.6 steals in 34 minutes per game, and he is emerging as a legitimate MVP candidate.
