Gasol had a huge game on Sunday, as he led his team in multiple categories in the victory. He finished the night with 30 points (13-18 FG, 4-5 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 34 minutes.

Gasol has been one of the top fantasy players this season and his scoring touch has been a big reason why. He's only scored in single digits in three games this season, while he's recorded a block in all but two games as well. After missing a stretch of games due to a knee injury last season, Gasol is playing with the same form he held when he won Defensive Player of the Year in 2012-2013.

Gasol got it going with 32 points (13-22 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one block in 30 minutes during the Grizzlies' 117-100 win versus the Celtics on Friday.

He did commit five turnovers, but other than that it was another fantastic night for Gasol, who matched his season and career-high of 32 points.

Gasol scored 22 points (8-16 FG, 6-10 FT) with 12 rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in 41 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Raptors.

With five Grizzlies laid low due to the flu, coach David Joerger was forced to lean even more heavily on Gasol than usual and the center responded with a big night. It's just Gasol's second double-double of the season, but his overall numbers are on pace or even exceeding his production from the last couple of seasons.

Gasol had 23 points (6-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 11-12 FT) with eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in 38 minutes Saturday in the win over Detroit.

Gasol's low post effectiveness helped get Andre Drummond in foul trouble and the Piston center played just 20 minutes. He has scored 20 points in back-to-back games for the first time since the first three games of the season.

Gasol contributed eight points (3-10 FG, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and nine assists in 32 minutes during the Grizzlies' 107-102 win versus the Lakers on Tuesday.

Gasol has slowed down scoring the ball after going for 20 points or more in the first three games of the season, but he has still been a consistently impressive contributor in every category except three-pointers. Through eight games Gasol is averaging 17.8 points (48.6 FG, 81.6 FT), 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks in 36 minutes per game. Expect Gasol to continue playing plenty of minutes as the Grizzlies look to build on their impressive start, and avoid having to fight to the final game of the season in order to clinch a playoff spot like they had to last year.

Gasol posted a double-double Monday against the Pelicans as he scored 16 points (4-10 FG, 8-12 FT) to go along with 11 rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 40 minutes.

Although Gasol scored under 20 points in a game for the first time this season, he was able to come away with his first double-double. He should continue to be an excellent all-around option at the center position for fantasy owners.

Gasol posted 22 points (9-18 FG, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds and two assists in 36 minutes during the Grizzlies' 71-69 win versus the Hornets on Saturday.

Gasol is averaging 24.7 points (58.8 FG, 77.8 FT), 7.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks in 35 minutes per game. He has scored over 20 points in each of the three games and helped lead the Grizzlies to a 3-0 start. Gasol appears primed for a breakout season, and his all-around production makes him an elite play in all formats. The Grizzlies are back in action on Monday versus the Pelicans.

Gasol scored 32 points (12-17 FG, 8-10 FT) to go along with nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 37 minutes during the Grizzlies' 105-101 win versus the Timberwolves on Wednesday.

Gasol dominated the Timberwolves' Nikola Pekovic and helped lead the Grizzlies to their first win in a season opener since 2000. Those who drafted Gasol hoping he's due for a breakout season have to be happy even though it was just one game. While we may not be able to expect 30 points on a nightly basis, so far he's living up to his preseason promise that he's going to be more aggressive offensively this season. Expect Gasol to continue providing positive production in every major category except three-pointers.

Gasol will look to be more aggressive this year, the Grizzly Bear Blues reports.

During media day Gasol made it clear that he plans to be more aggressive offensively this year. Given that the Grizzlies figure to shoot more three-pointers this year, Gasol should see more single coverage than he has in recent years, and it doesn't appear he'll be shy to go work on offense if that is indeed the case. He has always been lauded for his unselfish nature, but if he starts putting up a few more points per game without dropping off in the other categories he'd certainly be in for the best season of his career. He was also very reassuring about the fact that he loves Memphis and is not worried about his contract situation. Continue to target Gasol in the first few rounds on draft-day, as he provides consistently solid production in every major category except three-pointers.

Marc Gasol said he wants to stay in Memphis after his contract runs out in the summer of 2015.

"I've always said Memphis is my home away from home," Gasol said. "Robert [Pera] knows that. I know that. My teammates know that and that's all that matters. I live day to day but I don't see myself anywhere else." After missing just four games in the previous three seasons combined, Gasol missed 23 in 2013-14. He should have a bounce back year in his age-29 season as one of the best fantasy centers in the league.
