Tyreke Evans SG/SF NO 5 Months

Tyreke Evans was reportedly available to play on Saturday, but never entered the game.

He's nursing a knee injury that caused him to leave Friday's game early. It doesn't sound serious, but with nothing to play for, the Pelicans may be content to keep resting him until the season is over. Stay tuned.

Tyreke Evans (knee) is available to play against the Rockets on Saturday.

It's about time the Pelicans caught a break. Evans went down with a bone bruise on Friday night and did not return. It sounds like he dodged a bullet here and should be in all lineups. Austin Rivers takes a hit here.

Tyreke Evans (knee) appears to be available for the Pelicans on Saturday.

He suffered a bone bruise on Friday but may try to give it a go vs. the Rockets. If he does play his minutes will likely be limited, so there's plenty of risk for any fantasy owners relying on him for production.

Tyreke Evans suffered a bone bruise to his right knee and will not return to Friday's game vs. the Thunder.

The Pelicans cannot catch a break. They already lost Brian Roberts for the game and they're running out of bodies. Jrue Holiday (leg), Anthony Davis (back), Eric Gordon (knee), Ryan Anderson (back) and Jason Smith (knee) are all out for the season. Hopefully Tyreke is fine, but he might be the next guy to be ruled out the rest of the way. Anthony Morrow and Austin Rivers are decent pickups in all leagues right now.

Tyreke Evans scored a team-high 27 points during an embarrassing 137-107 loss to the Nuggets on Wednesday, adding eight boards, three assists and three turnovers.

He made all nine attempts from line tonight and continues to fill up the stat sheet. Evans has been a usage-rate monster for the Pelicans and is putting up huge numbers down the stretch after a slow start with his new team.

Tyreke Evans shot 9-of-20 from the field for 22 points, five rebounds, 15 assists, three steals, and one block in Friday's win over the Jazz.

Reke's career night came after Anthony Davis went down with an ankle injury in the first quarter and forced the Pelicans' offense to revolve around Evans. The 24-year-old has stepped up his game after being inserted into the starting lineup and has rewarded his fantasy owners by delivering a Top 20 performance over the last month. There is no reason to think that Evans can't continue his torrid pace and his numbers may even improve if Anthony Davis is forced to miss any time.

Tyreke Evans made 5-of-16 from the field for 10 points with four boards, nine assists and two steals against the Clippers on Wednesday.

He had 13 shots in the paint and the Clippers terrific perimeter defense did slow him down tonight from an efficiency standpoint. Chris Paul allowed just 1.2 field goal makes at the rim per game this season to his opposition, but that didn't stop Evans from getting there. Sure, this was his worst shooting game since taking over as the starter and there is no reason to think he's going to slow down. Look for him to hang a massive line on the Jazz during Friday's home game.

Tyreke Evans will start at point guard against the Clippers on Wednesday.

He's basically been running the point from the wing anyway and now has his first official start there this season. Evans has been getting to the rim at will and has been phenomenal since taking over as the starter on Feb. 28. He's an elite option tonight.

Tyreke Evans is excelling in his role as a starter for the Pelicans.

Evans is averaging 22.4 points, 5.6 boards, and 5.8 dimes in 11 games as a starter for the Pelicans this season as opposed to averages of 12.1 points, 4.5 boards, and 4.5 dimes in 50 games off the bench. Those sample sizes aren't exactly comparable, but the 13 extra minutes per game that Evans has seen as a starter has done wonders for his confidence and is showing on the stat sheet. Fantasy owners who were patient enough to hold onto Evans all season can now just sit back and enjoy being handsomely rewarded down the stretch.

Tyreke Evans looked unstoppable against the Nets during a 109-104 overtime win on Monday, scoring a season-high 33 points with 10 boards, seven assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 43 minutes.

He shot 13-of-19 from the field with a ridiculous 17 of those shots coming from within three feet. Apparently, teams don't seem to be getting the memo about Evans trying to get to the rim at all costs and he's shot a pristine 59.2 percent from the field over his last five, averaging 22.8 points, 5.0 boards, 5.2 assists, 0.4 blocks, 2.4 steals and 0.4 triples in that span. 'Reke is on fire.
