Evans, in his 13th NBA season and second with the Kings, had a season infected by both knee and thumb injuries, but was still able to appear in 47 games. He finished with averages of 3.7 points and 6.4 rebounds over just 16 minutes per game. Evans may not be the biggest offensive threat when he is on the court, but he will always look to be the most tenacious rebounder. Despite the fact that he is 35 years old and played just 16 minutes per game this season, Evans still somehow managed to grab over six boards a game and had 10 double-digit rebound games, including a November outing against the Grizzlies where he posted season-highs of 17 points and 20 rebounds. Evans is not under contract next season, and since the Kings already have so much depth in the frontcourt, there is a strong chance he isn't re-signed by Sacramento this offseason. But, even though he is up there in age, it is likely Evans finds a home next season given the energy and rebounding tenacity he can give you off the bench.

Evans (thumb) won't play in Wednesday's regular season finale against the Lakers, Cowbell Kingdom reports. Evans has missed each of the last two contests after suffering a thumb sprain in Friday's game against the Thunder. His absence from Wednesday's finale will leave him end his season, averaging 3.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists in about 16 minutes over 47 games.

Evans (thumb) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Lakers. Evans did not play Sunday after spraining his thumb Friday against the Thunder. The Kings won't take any chances with nothing to play for at this point in the season. DeMarcus Cousins (foot) and Rudy Gay (head) will remain out, so expect Jason Thompson and Derrick Williams to start up front with Omri Casspi likely joining them on the wing.

Evans is doubtful for Sunday's game with a sprained thumb, News 10's Sean Cunningham reports. Assuming Evans does not play Sunday, then he will only have two more chances to play before the end of the regular season. With Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins already out for the rest of the season, Jason Thompson and Derrick Williams will become intriguing daily options over the final two games.

Evans will get the start at center Tuesday, the Sacramento Bee's Jason Jones reports. DeMarcus Cousins (foot) is out indefinitely, so this could be a trend over the rest of the season. While Evans can haul in rebounds at an impressive rate, that is typically the only category he is an above average producer in. Jason Thompson could see more minutes than Evans at center off the bench.

Evans will move back to the bench Wednesday against Houston, Gary Gerould of ESPN reports. Evans got the start while DeMarcus Cousins rested Monday, but he'll shift back to the bench with Cousins in the lineup Wednesday. Evans is not a fantasy consideration in nearly any format.

Evans got the start at center Monday, scoring seven points (3-4 FG, 1-2 FT) with seven rebounds and a steal in just 18 minutes. DeMarcus Cousins was getting the night off, but Evans didn't get enough court time in his place to make any kind of impact as the Kings went with a smaller lineup for much of the night. Cousins should be back for Wednesday's game against the Rockets, returning Evans to the bench.

Evans grabbed 16 rebounds in Friday's win against the Hornets. He added four points and two assists in 21 minutes of action. Evans was always known to be a one-category player, and Friday's performance showed that. He made the most of the injury to DeMarcus Cousins, so expectations should be put into their place when Cousins returns.
