Dunleavy has been off the court since Jan. 1 with lingering ankle soreness. His return seems imminent, but he'll likely be eased back into action whenever he makes his eventual return to the court.

He was able to get some practice time in this week, but it's clear the injury is still lingering, and team doctors apparently don't think he's ready to get on the court for games yet. Hopefully he will be able to go when the Bulls take on the Warriors on Tuesday.

He is definitely making progress, and was a game-time call Friday, but he will indeed sit at least one more game out. Now that he has been a full participant in practice Wednesday, his return should be just around the corner.

Whether that will come Thursday against the Spurs remains to be seen, but Dunleavy should be considered questionable for that contest, as well as Friday's matchup with the Mavericks. When Dunleavy returns, Tony Snell and Kirk Hinrich should see reductions in minutes.
