Goran Dragic PG PHO 8 Days
Goran Dragic (ankle) is hopeful to be available for Friday's game against the Pelicans.
Dragic said he has tweaked his right ankle at least five times this season and is hoping that two days of rest will allow him to suit up Friday night. Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said, "He comes back pretty fast. Obviously, with a great training staff, Goran is a tough kid so he'll play. It probably won't be 100 percent but he'll still play." Dragic's fantasy owners will be champing at the bit to get him back for Friday night, but Ish Smith will again make for a strong fill-in if Dragic is unable to play.

Goran Dragic (ankle) will not play against the Jazz on Wednesday night.
He sprained his ankle on Tuesday night and was able to play through it. Dragic has played through a number of injuries and his been banged up throughout the season. On the other hand, he's been absolutely spectacular this season and become of the best point guards in the NBA. Ish Smith will get a ton of minutes tonight and is a very strong spot-start option in any format.
Goran Dragic PG PHO 10 Days
Goran Dragic is questionable for Wednesday's game in Utah against the Jazz after twisting his right ankle in Tuesday's game against the Wolves.
Dragic made it through the game but fouled out. "I think the momentum had swung prior to him fouling out anyway," Jeff Hornacek said. "He twisted his ankle and wanted to come back and give it a shot. In hindsight maybe I should have just left him off of it." The flight to Utah is a short one from Phoenix so the flight shouldn't impact swelling too much, but either way owners will want to prepare for a potential absence. This would also help explain the quiet outing on Tuesday, too.
Goran Dragic PG PHO 10 Days
Goran Dragic finally cooled off on Tuesday thanks to foul trouble, finishing with 16 points, three assists, a 3-pointer and two blocks before fouling out in a loss to the Timberwolves.
We didn't expect Ricky Rubio to give him this kind of problem, but the reality is that Dragic was due for some minutes off anyway. Ish Smith had seven points, seven assists and four steals in 29 minutes, but Dragic should bounce back against the Jazz on Wednesday.
Goran Dragic PG PHO 12 Days
Goran Dragic scored a career-high 35 points against the Rockets on Sunday with three assists, three steals and three turnovers in 42 minutes.
He shot an absurd 14-of-20 from the field to boost his season field goal shooting to a pristine 50.8 percent. Dragic was in one of his bigger slumps coming into tonight, failing to clear 47 percent from the field in any of his previous four games, but busted out in emphatic fashion. The Dragon is one of the best guards in the NBA and it still doesn't feel right that he missed out on the All-Star Game and a $1 million bonus.
Goran Dragic PG PHO 16 Days
Goran Dragic had 17 points, four rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two 3-pointers in Wednesday's win.
He's averaging 19.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 10.0 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.5 3-pointers this week, and still has two games left. However, his chances to be named the Western Conference Player of the Week are slim, as both Kevin Love and Patty Mills are also having explosive weeks.
Goran Dragic PG PHO 17 Days
Goran Dragic had 21 points, five rebounds, 14 assists, three steals and a 3-pointer on 6-of-15 shooting in Tuesday's overtime win against the Nuggets.
He was happy to see Ty Lawson (broken rib) in street clothes and he more than doubled up on his average of 6.2 assists per game. And with three more games this week, Dragic could be on his way to his best week of the season if he can stay hot. This was just his sixth game in double-digit assists on the season, but he's averaging 10.25 of them over his last four games.
Goran Dragic PG PHO 24 Days
Goran Dragic had a long overdue sub-par game against the Heat on Tuesday, scoring 15 points with three boards, nine assists, one block, four steals and two 3-pointers on 4-of-12 shooting.
With the steals and treys, it's still a solid line for almost any player. Dragic has been one of the best guards in the NBA lately and he wasn't going to stay hot forever. Over his previous 10, he averaged 24.3 points, 4.2 boards, 6.4 assists and 1.5 steals on an absurd 59.3 percent from the field. He'll bounce back on Wednesday vs. Denver.
