DeMar DeRozan played 22 minutes in his return to the lineup during a 95-92 loss to the Knicks on Wednesday, scoring nine points with five boards, one assist and three turnovers.

He rested on Monday and coach Dwane Casey took it easy on his All-Star tonight -- deservedly so. Only Kevin Durant and Monta Ellis logged more minutes this season than DeRozan while DD also ranked third in free throw makes. He had a breakout season and has really become a nice, well-rounded scorer.

DeMar DeRozan will rest against the Bucks on Monday night.

He's had a breakout season and the Raptors will keep him out against the lowly Bucks tonight. With DeRozan out, Terrence Ross will see an uptick in minutes and could have a nice night while John Salmons and Steve Novak could get in the mix. DeRozan could play on Wednesday if the Raptors are still looking to get the three seed. Although, it might behoove them to be in the four spot since the Pacers are likely to be the fourth seed's second-round opponent should things work out for both teams.

DeMar DeRoza was tremendous against the Pistons on Sunday with 30 points, one board, three assists and two 3-pointers on 10-of-19 from the field and 8-of-10 from the line.

He threw down a facial on Kyle Singler in the fourth quarter and kept his breakout season going. This was his 17th 30-point game on the year and he's ranked third in the Eastern Conference for points per game. DeRozan gets to the line more and has really grown as a player, which suggests this season was no fluke.

DeMar DeRozan hit just 4-of-14 shots for 17 points, five rebounds and five assists, but also took three stitches near his left eye.

He played through it and also received four stitches in his hand last week. He's a serious candidate for the league's most improved player this season, and along with Kyle Lowry, is a big reason the Raptors are currently sitting as the No. 3 seed in the East.

DeMar DeRozan cut his left hand during Wednesday's game and required "four or five" stitches, but the injury didn't prevent him from scoring 29 points in 40 minutes. The Raptors have clinched a playoff spot but coach Dwane Casey said his team is "not in a position" to rest players as a precaution, so DeRozan should be a safe option vs. the Pacers on Friday and beyond. One reason for his career-best 22.8 points per game this season is that he's consistently attacking the hoop, which has resulted in 7.9 free throw attempts (seventh-highest in the NBA).

DeMar DeRozan scored 30 points in the Raptors' playoff-clinching overtime win over the Celtics on Friday, hitting 12-of-27 shots (6-of-6 FTs) with three rebounds, four assists and one steal.

DeRozan could go on a nice run if Kyle Lowry misses any time due to the ankle injury he played through tonight, but regardless he'll be a must-start player the rest of the way. Obviously.

DeMar DeRozan's 33 points were not enough during Friday's 119-118 double-overtime loss to the Thunder, adding eight boards, three assists, two steals and six turnovers in 49 minutes.

It's his third consecutive game with at least 29 points, but he did need 23 shots to get there tonight. DeRozan lives and dies by the mid-range and it hurt him a but, so hopefully he attacks a little bit more. On the other hand, he shot 15-of-16 from the line and that has also been a huge help for his consistency as a scorer. His All-Star nod has not slowed him down whatsoever.

DeMar DeRozan made 9-of-19 from the field against the Pelicans on Wednesday, scoring 31 points with three boards, four assists, three steals and two 3-pointers.

He also made a living at the line with 11 makes on 13 attempts, which has been a huge part of his success this season. DeRozan leads all Eastern Conference players with 505 attempts from the line this season and he's going to the line a whopping nine times per game since the All-Star break. His offensive game has really come around in his fifth year.
