Harris (Achilles) bounced back from an underwhelming season, averaging a career-high 17.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 1.3 three-pointers in 34.8 minutes per contest.

Harris enters the offseason a restricted free agent. While he and management have expressed mutual interest, the Magic are one of the youngest teams with a potential top-6 draft pick on the horizon. General manager Rob Hennigan already confirmed the team plans to retain the 22-year old forward. Harris is a gifted scorer with defensive limitations and can occasionally bog down the offense with his postgame. He shot a career-high 36 percent from beyond the three-point line, up nine percent from the prior season. January was the only month he scored fewer than 17.0 points per game, compiling 11.9 points in 29.5 minutes per game. He was ailing from a sprained left ankle at the time and came off the bench for half the games, the one blip in an otherwise even keel season. Harris was one of seven players to average at least 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting at least 35 percent from downtown. A permanent move to power forward would improve his rebounding numbers and mask his defensive inefficiencies.

Harris posted 21 points, five rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 36 minutes of action Friday against the Pistons.

Harris is playing just his second game back from an ankle injury, and it seems like he's getting back into shape quickly. The fact that he logged 36 minutes is also an encouraging sign to owners, which means he'll be a strong asset moving forward.

Harris (ankle) scored 14 points (6-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with two rebounds, two assists and a steal in 36 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Hawks.

It wasn't the most effective performance from Harris, but after missing three games with the ankle injury, his fantasy owners are just glad to have him back. He should find a little more scoring success on Friday against the Pistons.

Harris (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against the Hawks, John Denton of the Magic's official site reports.

Harris sprained his ankle last week and hasn't taken the court since. He took part in practice Tuesday, which gives a little more hope for a return. However, the decision on his status should come through at some point closer to the opening tip-off.
