Westbrook put together a spectacular 2014-15 NBA season, averaging a league-high 28.1 points to go with 8.6 assists, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers in 34 minutes per game across 67 games played.

Westbrook's outrageously productive campaign was boosted by the fact that teammate Kevin Durant missed 55 games due to injury, leaving the attack-minded Westbrook to carry the Thunder offensively for the majority of the season. While the dynamic point guard missed 15 games of his own due to hand and face injuries, Westbrook was simply sensational this season, posting career-best averages in points, assists, rebounds, and steals. Essentially, Westbrook was a top-scoring, walking triple-double for the better part of this season, a development best exemplified by his unprecedented post-All Star Game output. In 28 games following his MVP-winning effort at the All Star Game - a stretch in which Durant played just once - Westbrook registered 31.4 points, 9.9 assists and 8.6 rebounds per game, and notched an eye-popping nine triple-doubles. Those monster totals ranked Westbrook only behind Stephen Curry as the best fantasy player in 8-category rotisserie leagues. Looking ahead, Westbrook's contract with the Thunder lasts two more seasons, as he enters the prime of his career at 26-years-old. Given his historically impressive 2014-15 statistical figures, which still included around career average shooting numbers, Westbrook will fly off draft boards ahead of next season, although Durant's health situation at that time should help dictate just how high Westbrook is selected.

Westbrook scored 37 points (11-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 13-17 FT) with eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals in Wednesday's win over the Timberwolves.

He did everything he could, but despite the win the Thunder came up just short of the playoffs. Westbrook's massive season will put him in contention for the top spot on next year's draft boards.

Westbrook had his technical foul from Sunday's game rescinded and he will play Monday against the Trail Blazers, The Oklahoman reports.

Speculation will likely arise as to why Westbrook's technical foul was rescinded, but the biggest news from this is he will be allowed to play Monday as the team continues to battle for the eighth playoff spot. It wouldn't be surprising if the superstar becomes cautious with his tongue moving forward, as another technical would cost him a contest.

Westbrook scored a career-high 54 points (21-43 FG, 5-15 3Pt, 7-11 FT) Sunday in a loss to the Pacers. He came close to a triple-double with nine rebounds and eight assists.

Westbrook also picked up his 16th technical foul of the season in this game, so he'll likely miss Monday's game against the Trail Blazers. Still, his performance is once again impressive. Heading into tonight's game, he was averaging 26.6 points, 8.6 assists and 7.2 rebounds per game so far in April.

Westbrook picked up his 16th technical foul of the season during Sunday's loss to the Pacers, leaving him on track to be suspended for Monday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Unless the technical is rescinded by the NBA, Westbrook will miss a game at the worst possible time for his team. He had a rather eventful Sunday night, finishing with a career-high 54 points (21-43 FG, 5-15 3PT, 7-11 FT), nine rebounds and eight assists in a 116-104 loss. Assuming the technical foul is upheld, D.J. Augustin will likely get the starting nod at point guard Monday night, with Dion Waiters and Enes Kanter potentially getting some extra shots. Westbrook will be eligible to return for Wednesday's regular-season finale in Minnesota.

Westbrook has arguably been the number one fantasy option over the last two months, and he continues to dominate as the season comes to a close. Owners should expect him to bounce back over the next games.

Westbrook currently has 15 technical fouls. If he gets another before the end of the regular season, he will receive an automatic one-game suspension.

The Thunder are just 2.5 games up on the Pelicans for the eighth and final spot in the West playoffs, so Westbrook should be on his best behavior, and the refs should be aware of the situation and give the fiery player some leeway. This note is more of a heads-up than anything else. If you have Westbrook on your roster, you should just keep an eye on this in case he ends up getting suspended on a night with tons of games that would allow you to toss another player into an active roster spot.
