This article references Juan Hernangomez, Richard Jefferson and more! Denver Nuggets center Juan Hernangomez (illness) will not play on Monday night against the Washington Wizards. Hernangomez has been statistically irrelevant this season and has only seen a total of 13 minutes throughout the first two games. However, the team has announced that small forward Richard Jefferson will be available. The veteran signed a one-year deal last week but will likely not see the floor much as his role will be to provide leadership to the young up-and-coming Nuggets roster.Keep on reading: Juancho Hernangomez Out, Richard Jefferson Active

Richard Jefferson Out Today rotoballer.com Thu 3/30/17 7:06 PM

This article references Richard Jefferson and more! The Cleveland Cavaliers’ Richard Jefferson will miss tonight’s game in Chicago due to a left knee injury. With Kyle Korver being ruled out for this one as well, Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith will see increased minutes at shooting guard. While neither are great candidates to go off, Shumpert is likely the better play, as Smith has not looked the same shooting the ball since his return from injury. Smith is shooting just 32% from the field and is not an option in any league as it stands.Keep on reading: Richard Jefferson Out Today

In the last handful of games, Richard Jefferson, the 36-year-old veteran guard, has been one of the role-players to step up. Jefferson’s minutes have been steadily increasing, and while not exactly sky-high, his points per game has also seen a minor boost. Coming off yesterday’s spectacular performance against the Golden State [...]Keep on reading: Richard Jefferson Could Become Valuable Bench Fantasy Contributor

Midseason Grades: Southwest Division fantasyalarm.com Sat 3/17/12 6:07 PM

We wrap up our mid-season looks across the Association with the Southwest Division of the Western Conference. This is the home of the defending NBA champions (Dallas Mavericks), the team with the best regular season record a season ago (San Antonio Spurs) and a team that came of age in the post season last spring (Memphis Grizzlies.). Also in the Southwest, a team searching for a center since Hakeem left (Houston Rockets) and one owned by the Association (New Orleans Hornets). Make sure and get Fantasy Alarm's award winning 2012 Fantasy Baseball iPhone App! Southwest Division San Antonio Spurs (29-13) A year ago, the aging Spurs crashed and burned in the opening round of the playoffs. This time around, veterans like Tim Duncan have been given nights off in order to "save" something for the second season. Tony Parker is still the man and he is hoping his backcourt mate Manu Ginobili can help carry the load next month. San Antonio's only move at the deadline was to swap small forward Richard Jefferson to Golden State for Stephen Jackson. Memphis Grizzlies (24-18) The Grizzlies were a force in the playoffs a year ago and now they have a healthy Rudy Gay. Zach Randolph has been out with injury for much of the season, but he has returned, ready to pair with Marc Gasol in the paint. Mike Conley is solid at the point, but the post season hopes in Memphis may lie at shooting guard. OJ Mayo has a world of talent, if he gets going, watch out! The Grizzlies have mostly role players on the bench and only made one move at the deadline, moving Sam Young in a salary dump. Dallas Mavericks (25-20) Dallas has a lot of work to do to defend their title this Spring. The loss of Tyson Chandler...

Trade High, Acquire Low fantasyalarm.com Mon 1/9/12 4:46 PM

When dealing with investments, its advisable to buy low and sell high and fantasy sports are no different. Have a player who is outpeforming or overachieving? Time to move him before reality balances the numbers. Is a stud player off to a slow start? Law of averages suggests he will have to exceed the norm in order to balance things out. Its difficult for many in fantasy sports to execute this policy and sometimes it does backfire. While this applies to trading, you should also buy low when considering waiver moves. Fantasy Football doesn't end with the regular season - at Fuzzys Fantasy Football we're only getting started. Join a Playoff League today and continue the Fantasy! Sell High- Mario Chalmers- Chalmers is accumulating artificially high numbers with the injuries to James and Wade, so now is the time to deal. Miami also loves rookie point guard Norris Cole, which doesn't bode well for Mario. A dilluted situation is only going to get worst. Richard Jefferson- Jefferson is off to a great start despita almost getting ditched with via amnesty. The Spurs only need Jefferson until rookie Kawhi Leonard is ready. The former San Diego State star is showing signs, you should take note. Ben Gordon- After a disappointing stint in Detroit, Gordon has had some nice outings, taking up the slack for the departed Richard Hamilton. But make no mistake, the future backcourt is Brendan Knight and Rodney Stuckey, sooner than later. Drew Gooden- Andrew Bogut has been away and Gooden has had some incredibly high scoring and rebounding numbers over the last week. The slide has begun and Bogut is returning, so move him now before its too...
