Gasol will compete for Spain during FIBA's EuroBasket 2015, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Gasol just finished up one of the best seasons of his career during his first year with the Bulls and will look to carry that momentum into international competition. The event takes place in September which should give the veteran a good tune up before heading into Chicago's preseason training camp shortly thereafter.

Gasol played in 78 games for the Bulls this season and averaged 18.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 blocks a game.

The Bulls couldn't have asked for much more from Gasol this season as not only was he great offensively, but his 11.8 rebounds a game were a career high. After struggling with injuries over the last few seasons, he remained healthy as well until the second round of the playoffs when he suffered a hamstring injury. Had he not been injured, the results might have been different for the Bulls against the Cavaliers. Gasol will be a big part of the Bulls again next season and although he should be a valuable fantasy option again, don't be surprised if his numbers regress some.

Gasol (hamstring) started Thursday's Game 6 against the Cavs but was held to just eight points (3-8 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist in 24 minutes.

Gasol was productive for the Bulls when he was out there, but the injury clearly held him back. He missed two games in this series with the injury, but was effective in Game 1, scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 boards.

Gasol (hamstring) will play and start in Thursday's Game 6, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Gasol starting moves Taj Gibson back into a bench role after starting the previous two games. While Gasol has stated that he still is not 100 percent, it appears as if he is healthy enough to start and play a decent amount of minutes in a must-win game for the Bulls.

Gasol (hamstring) plans to play in Thursday's Game 6 , Yahoo! Sports reports. "I'll be out there," Gasol said.

Gasol went through a light workout Wednesday and said he had no residual pain, but he did not attempt to jump and will play at less than 100 percent. "I don't know, but whatever percentage I will be, that's what I'll give," Gasol said. At this point, it's unclear whether a hampered Gasol will be in the starting lineup, but he'll be available to play a reduced minutes load after missing each of the last two games.

Gasol (hamstring) said he has "no residual pain" after Wednesday's practice and will try to play in Game 6 on Thursday, KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Gasol was initially ruled a game-time call, but after going through a light workout Wednesday his hamstring is feeling well enough to give it a go. The big man intimated that he likely won't be able to play his usual minutes load, so Taj Gibson should continue to play an integral role as the third big behind Gasol and Noah. Gasol has been criticized for his struggles defensively and on the glass this series, but he's a far superior interior and mid-range scorer than Gibson or Noah.

Gasol (hamstring) went through Wednesday's walkthrough and is considered a game-time call for Thursday's Game 6 against the Cavs, Ethan Skolnick of Bleacher Report reports. "If he can go, he'll go," coach Tom Thibodeau said.

Gasol has missed the last two games with a hamstring issue, but his condition has improved to the point that he was able to do some light running. The Bulls will wait to see how Gasol feels Thursday morning before making a decision, and if he's ultimately held out again expect Taj Gibson to make another start.

Gasol (hamstring) will not play in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Cavaliers, Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated reports.

As expected, Gasol will be sidelined for the second straight game due to a left hamstring injury. Coach Tom Thibodeau indicated that Gasol is making progress, but he hasn't yet reached the point where he's comfortable playing at full speed. Consider Gasol questionable for Thursday's Game 6, and expect Taj Gibson to again replace Gasol in the starting lineup.

Gasol (hamstring) is unlikely to play in Game 5 on Tuesday, Ethan Skolnick of Bleacher Report reports.

Gasol has officially been called a game-time decision, but the prevailing belief among those close to the situation is that he'll likely be held out. Nothing is set in stone, however, and it's possible he could play if he's able to make it through warmups without issue.

Gasol (hamstring) is feeling better Tuesday morning, and coach Tom Thibodeau indicated that the big man will likely be a game-time decision for Game 5 against the Cavaliers, ESPN Chicago's Nick Friedell reports.

Gasol didn't do much at Monday's practice besides rehab work, and while he does seem to be getting better, he's still not a good bet to play in Tuesday's Game 5. If Gasol misses another game, Taj Gibson will get a second straight start at power forward.
