Gasol scored 27 points (11-19 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT) with 12 rebounds, four blocks, three assists and a steal in 33 minutes during Monday's win over the Hornets.

It's Gasol's third double-double in the last four games and NBA-leading 47th on the season, and it helped the Bulls sew up a playoff spot. With the club jockeying for position at the top of the Eastern Conference though, don't expect him to get much rest down the stretch.

Gasol managed to play for 33 minutes against the Clippers on Sunday despite the fact that he's still battling an illness, Nick Friedell of ESPN reports. He finished with four points (2-13 FG), 15 rebounds, and four assists.

Gasol should be considered day-to-day moving forward in the event that his illness gets worse ahead of Tuesday's game against the Wizards. It would be somewhat surprising if he didn't take the court, although coach Tom Thibodeau said Gasol is still very sick and doesn't seem to be at full strength.
