Mbah a Moute (knee) isn't listed on the injury report for Friday's Game 1 against the Lakers, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran forward didn't see the court during the seven-game series against the Thunder, but it appears he's recovered from the knee injury. Mbah a Moute is unlikely to fill a significant role off the bench now that he's healthy.

The Rockets list Mbah a Moute (knee) as out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
After arriving late to the NBA bubble in Orlando, Mbah a Moute played in three of the Rockets' final four seeding games, but he's been battling a left knee effusion since the start of the postseason and has yet to suit up during the series. The Rockets likely will continue to evaluate Mbah a Moute's status on a game-by-game basis, but when healthy, he's expected to handle a minor role off the Houston bench.

Mbah a Moute (knee) is out for Saturday's Game 3 against the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
A knee injury will keep Mbah a Moute sidelined, and he has yet to play in the series. That said, the Rockets are up 2-0, so they might not need his presence.

Mbah a Moute, who revealed Monday that he previously tested positive for COVID-19, said he's been limited to one-on-one or two-on-two workouts since he was cleared to resume training with the Rockets last week, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports. "I was sick. I had the COVID. I was actually sick and down for like 10 days, then recovering and all that stuff," Mbah a Moute said. "I had a lot of symptoms. It wasn't too bad to where I had to go to a hospital. Being down, fatigue, chills, cold, whatever, body aches, all that stuff - it was tough."
EDGE Analysis
Shortly after agreeing to a deal with the Rockets in early July to replace the opting-out Thabo Sefolosha at the NBA bubble, Mbah a Moute was stricken with a case of COVID-19, which delayed his arrival to Orlando. He was able to move past the symptoms about two weeks later, and after making the trip to Orlando and completing a quarantine process, Mbah a Moute has finally gotten the chance to join the team for workouts. However, because he has yet to see any action in the Rockets' exhibition contests and remains limited in practice, Mbah a Moute could be a candidate to sit out Friday's game against Dallas. Once he's deemed 100 percent, Mbah a Moute could push for a spot in coach Mike D'Antoni's rotation as a backup power forward or center.

Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said that Mbah a Moute (undisclosed) has been cleared to travel and could arrive to the NBA's bubble in Orlando as soon as Wednesday, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Assuming Mbah a Moute quickly passes through all health-related protocols once he goes into a brief quarantine after landing Orlando, he should be ready to practice with the team at some point over the weekend. After sitting out the entire 2019-20 season and only being added to the Houston roster earlier this month as a replacement for Thabo Sefolosha (opt out), Mbah a Moute may be rustier than most players in Orlando. Nonetheless, if he's back practicing in the next few days, he'll likely be available to the Rockets in a depth role for their first seeding game July 31 against the Mavericks.

Mbah a Moute has yet to join the Rockets in Orlando for practices since signing with the team earlier this month, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Houston has yet to provide a reason behind Mbah a Moute's ongoing absence, though the team reportedly expects him to enter the NBA bubble at Walt Disney World "soon." Signed as a replacement on the 15-man roster for Thabo Sefolosha, who opted out of the season restart, Mbah a Moute is only expected to handle a minor bench role for the Rockets once he's available.

Mbah a Moute will join the Rockets in the Orlando bubble in three or four days, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mbah a Moute's entry into the bubble has been delayed for reasons that remain unclear, along with Russell Westbrook and James Harden. All three teammates are expected to set foot in Orlando within the next few days.

Mbah a Moute is nearing an agreement to sign with the Rockets, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thabo Sefolosha recently announced he will not be participating in the resumption of the 2019-20 season in Orlando, so Mbah a Moute figures to take his place on the roster. The veteran forward last saw NBA action in four games with the Clippers during the 2018-19 campaign. Mbah a Moute likely will work as a defensive depth option behind P.J. Tucker, Robert Covington, Jeff Green and DeMarre Carroll in the frontcourt.
