Thompson averaged 21.7 points, 3.1 three-pointers, 3.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 1.1 steals in 32 minutes per game through 77 games in 2014-15.

The 25-year-old, who finished his fourth season in the NBA, is under team control through 2018-19. Thompson has been good at staying healthy, playing in 93 percent of his regular season games since his rookie season in 2011-12. He averaged career highs in points, assists, blocks, and steals this season, while also producing career highs across the board in shooting efficiency (46% FG, 44% 3Pt, 88% FT). Thompson should return as a starter on the defending NBA champion Warriors, and produce at a level worthy of high consideration in all fantasy leagues.

Thompson was kneed in the thigh in Game 2 but it was not enough of a concern to be put on the injury report, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! reports.

Thompson was reportedly seen limping off the bus yesterday and had a wrap around his leg, but head coach Steve Kerr says that he should still be good to go. Thompson went off for a team-high 34 points last game and will look to build on that performance in Game 3 Tuesday.

Thompson shouldered the load of the Warriors' offense in their 95-93 Game 2 overtime loss on Sunday. The All-Star guard scored a team-high 34 points (14-28 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 2-3 FT), grabbed five rebounds, dished out two assists, secured two steals, and blocked one shot in a team-high 46 minutes.

Thompson scored nine points in the first five minutes, but he was whistled for two early fouls. After a 20-point first half, Thompson converted 5-of-15 shots and shied away from the ball down the stretch, going 0-of-1 in overtime and 1-of-3 in the final 10 minutes. Most egregiously, he failed to box out the Cavaliers' Matthew Dellavedova in the final seconds of overtime.

Thompson (concussion) labored through his first game since clearing concussion protocol. He scored 21 points (5-14 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 8-8 FT), grabbed six rebounds, blocked two shots, notched an assist, and recorded one steal in 39 minutes during Thursday's Game 1 win.

Thompson did the majority of his damage in the third quarter while guarded by the Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving (knee). His defender may change come Game 2 if Irving is unable to play Sunday, and the likely replacement is pesky Matthew Dellavedova.

Thompson (concussion) has been cleared to play in Game 1 of the Finals on Thursday, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

After going through a full practice Tuesday, Thompson met with team doctors, who put him through a series of concussion tests. Six days after taking a knee to the head from Houston's Trevor Ariza, Thompson has been cleared for full contact and will be in the starting lineup when the Finals begin Thursday night. The sharpshooter struggled, by his standards, in the Houston series, shooting just 41.7 percent from the floor and 34.1 percent from three. For the playoffs, he's averaging 19.7 points and 3.7 rebounds while hitting 45.9 percent of his field goals and 42.5 percent of his three-pointers.

Thompson (concussion) went through a full practice Tuesday and "looked good," according to coach Steve Kerr, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Thompson was evaluated by doctors following Tuesday's session, and he then returned to the court for a post-practice shooting workout. While the Warriors are yet to say as much, it looks as though Thompson will be good to go for Game 1 of the Finals on Thursday in Oakland.

Thompson (concussion) will be re-evaluated Tuesday following Monday's workout, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.

Thompson, who is yet to be cleared by team doctors, went through an on-court, non-contact workout Monday. The hope is that he'll be medically cleared Tuesday, which would enable him to play in Game 1 of the Finals on Thursday night. If Thompson is not cleared, his availability will fall into serious jeopardy, so the situation is certainly something to monitor over the next two days.

Thompson's (concussion) father indicated Monday that he hasn't been cleared yet, but said he's doing well and believes he will be ready for Game 1 on Wednesday, Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group reports.

Thompson exited Game 5 last Wednesday after being kneed in the head by the Rockets' Trevor Ariza. However, he reportedly no longer suffers from headaches, and all indications point to him being cleared to play ahead of Game 1 on Wednesday. Assuming he's cleared, nothing should prevent him from playing as he normally does.

Thompson is "progressing well" in his recovery from the concussion he suffered in last Wednesday's Game 5 win over the Rockets, and the Warriors expect him to be ready for Thursday's Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the Bay Area News Group reports.

Thompson left Wednesday's Game 5 after being kneed in the head, but he was put through concussion tests and allowed to return to the game, finishing with 20 points, one rebound, four assists, and one steal in 22 minutes. It was only after the game that Thompson began experiencing concussion symptoms like dizziness and vomiting. He was then tested again and diagnosed with a concussion. His status for Game 1 should remain questionable until a definitive report comes out regarding Thompson passing all the necessary test protocols in order to be cleared by the league to play.

Thompson has been diagnosed with a concussion, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Confusion has surrounded the situation since Thompson took an inadvertent knee to the head courtesy of Houston's Trevor Ariza in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's Game 5. Thompson, who suffered a laceration near his ear, was taken to the locker room for stitches, but he returned later in the fourth quarter, finishing with 20 points in 22 minutes. After the game, Thompson's father told a radio station that his son vomited on the way home, but reports Thursday insisted that team doctors had not diagnosed a concussion. One day later, the Warriors have issued a statement indicating that Thompson will not return to on-court activities until he's cleared by league concussion protocol. With six days before the Finals begin Thursday night, Thompson's availability for Game 1 likely will not be impacted.
