There is "not much" to the idea of trading Eric Bledsoe in a package for Paul Millsap, sources told the Orange County Register.
Clippers beat writer Dan Woike calls the situation "fluid," but the Clippers have adamantly denied shopping Bledsoe and it would take a truly special trade to pry the young point guard out of Los Angeles. Hoopsworld's Bill Ingram also reports that a Bledsoe trade is "unlikely." Bledsoe is still under contract for next season and a vital piece on the Clippers current squad, so there is no rush to deal him. Unless the Clippers get a deal they can't refuse, it's more likely Bledsoe is dealt next season prior to his hitting free agency--especially if Chris Paul signs a long-term deal to remain in Los Angeles after the season, as expected.
