Smith contributed a season-high 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT), four rebounds, and two steals in 18 minutes during Wednesday's 103-90 win over the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Smith saw a little increased run with DeAndre Jordan ejected from the game midway through the third quarter, but he owes his scoring night almost entirely to his uncharacteristic success from downtown. The trio of three-pointers was more than Smith had made in the previous four games combined, and the accuracy was even more eyebrow-raising for the 30-year-old, who is a 28.7 career three-point shooter. In other words, consider this an aberration for Smith, who will continue to see less than 20 minutes per game while both Blake Griffin and Jordan are healthy.
