EDGE Analysis
With Thaddeus Young (wrist) and Lavoy Allen (knee) still sidelined, Seraphin once again drew the start and played about as well as he did against the Cavs Wednesday night. Coach Nate McMillan took a different tactic and gave Al Jefferson extended minutes in Seraphin's stead, and the veteran forward outscored Seraphin with 12 points over11 minutes. Losing a guy like Young would be tough on any team as he leads the Pacers in steals and field-goal percentage. His loss has helped extended the Pacers' losing streak to six straight. There's no need to rush in and grab Seraphin or Jefferson as the team hopes to see Young back after the All-Star break, and even if he misses more time the situation is too muddled to warrant taking a risk on either player.
