Rubio (hamstring) was able to go through the Wolves' morning shootaround Wednesday, but his status remains undetermined for the team's game later in the evening against the Magic, Darren Wolfson of KSTP TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rubio, who played 27 minutes in his return to the lineup during Tuesday's win over the Heat, doesn't appear to have suffered any setbacks with his left hamstring, as he was able to complete shootaround without any discomfort. Still, because he's only recently returned from a four-game absence and the Wolves are playing the second game of a back-to-back set Wednesday, there's still a chance that Rubio could be held out for precautionary purposes. Fortunately for daily gamers, the Timberwolves will play at 7:00 ET, when the first slate of Wednesday's games are on the docket. Continue to monitor the news surrounding Rubio when the Timberwolves begin warming up roughly a half hour prior to tip off, as Zach LaVine would likely get the start at point guard and make an excellent daily value play if Rubio is ruled out.
