Love (shoulder) has been ruled out for the entirety of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, ESPN's Marc Stein reports. Love dislocated his left shoulder during the first quarter of Sunday's series-clinching win over the Celtics while battling Kelly Olynyk for a loose ball. Love immediately headed to the locker room to undergo further testing, and it has since been revealed that he also suffered "corresponding ligament/labrum tearing and humeral head bone bruising." The fact that Love has been ruled out for the series is not overly encouraging, but if the Cavaliers are able to get past the Bulls or Bucks in Round 2, it seems likely Love will be able to re-enter the fold later in the postseason. Cleveland will have several options to replace Love in the starting lineup. Tristan Thompson is the obvious candidate to slide into the power forward spot, but coach David Blatt could instead opt to move LeBron James up to the four and insert Shawn Marion or James Jones at small forward. The Cavs will also likely be dealing with the absence of J.R. Smith, who is expected to be suspended at least one game after being ejected for striking Boston's Jae Crowder on Sunday.
