Free agent C Francisco Elson will work out for the 76ers on Tuesday, a source tells HoopsHype.com. The Sixers' already thin front line has been decimated by injuries to Spencer Hawes (Achilles) and Nikola Vucevic (quad). Elson did spend some time with the Sixers late in the 2009-10 season as part of the Jodie Meeks trade. If signed, the 7-footer would be mere insurance.
